@krawlin454 sounds like you had bad luck, my dad and i run a powerstroke specialty shop, we see the worst of the worst but it doesnt mean theyre all like that. i drive mine hard but its taken care of, 165k on the truck now and it still looks and runs brand new.

@D86shanks They were better 2005 and up i have an 04 and just put head gaskets in it and 3 injectors at 400 a piece. U can make them good motors if ya got the cash.

@SockBilly , with stock programming the rev limiter is 4000rpm, shift points are 35-3600rpm, with innovatives extreme tunes the rev limiter is raised to 4500rpm and shift points are at 40-4250rpm.
