  • You can also type shutdown -a in start - run, so now I'm assuming you can run cmd commands in shortcuts & start - run

  • hey i remember this song!! mystery guitarman uses this rite?

  • @Ayulsakaiboy Vet inte

  • i cant open it

  • @TheWindowsSetup basehunter, shut the fuck up

  • IT GAVE ME 1/2 OF A SEC TO SEE IT THEN CLOSED

  • @robandhelenmcfarlane What did you use after "-t "?

That line specifies the time in miliseconds, so for one you need to enter 1000.

Multiplay 1000 with the number of seconds you want it to be.

  • it gave me 1 second that sucks!

  • @TheReturnofLurker15 Did you use the time 1000?

If so, that is one second. if you want for say 20 second, use -t 20000

use 1000 * number of seconds you want

  • i've learn that in the 2nd class ......boring

  • Everything is written in a foreign language, but as you type the shortcut in it's in English?

  • its swedish

  • Its over 600!

  • oops...

    i mean uuuhhhh... 9000!!!!!!! lol

  • great video !

  • Better is to use the command "shutdown -s -f -t". Programs will be directly closed without a question. (Do you want to save? Yes, No, Cancel)

  • If you run of time ur windows will close. U can also make a "Abort shutdown" link.

Just create a new shoutcut and type: shutdown -a

  • That's how I prank people. I only put in 30 seconds so they don't have time to abort the shutdown.

  • Nah more like 3 secs, in 30 secs you can Start > run > 'shutdown -a' > enter > DONE

  • What if you ran out of time before you could even type "shutdown -a" in the text rectangle in run and click OK?

  • The only way to close it is in "run".

  • I saw the window. Here's a way to close it. (And it's the only way!) Go to start and click "run" or hold down the windows logo key and press the R key and type shutdown -a in the text rectangle and click OK.

  • For the file name, if you want it to be a prank, don't include "shut down".

  • You can really type in any number of seconds. I like to type in just 30 seconds.

  • thanks...usefull..I read that long ago in a book but then I could never remember it! Now I won't forget...Thanks for sharing!
