And as for The Old Republic, the whole point of KOTOR was that it was set in a different era, so they have a licence to "do what they want", as long as it gets the Lucas "nod" right? It's a different time, equivalent of ancient Egyptians (circa 2500BC) for us, just on a galactic scale with extreme technologies :P I guess that's kind of beside the point though, EU can take it in lots of directions and that's what makes it awesome. Boba Fett is a good example of a blank canvas for this.

woo chiss... again. I first heard of them in the Thrawn trilogy. Cool race, I think the cannon says they are out in the unknown regions, some mutation of humans? Please do say if I am wrong because I actually want to know (reply button).

Anyway, it's a very big galaxy, so I think if you have loads of movies, books, games etc. with loads of jedi, who are supposed to be rare post-clone wars, then chiss who weren't hunted in the same way (as far as I know) could quite easily exist in the canon.

Its was good, although I questioned how a Jedi could yield so easily to emotions-In regards to Icks. I really enjoyed the dialogue, Max landis has an incredible sense for it. The shots were nicely sequenced as well.

I think the idea may have worked, but somewere it lost that star wars feeling. I think your work is intersting enough to retry this story in a sci fi planet and in sci fi suits but ot star wars per say and then it may really work well for you,

Sure there are. Plenty of Races have their on religions and such. Read more expanded universe material.

Either way, I enjoyed this short. There were certain places though that were kinda like "huh". For example...Ixer not takeing advantage of what's his face turning his back on him....but that can all be explained through backround drama. :P

The key word being "almost"...second I simply mentioned that it is not a hard jump to make...no where did I imply that the jump had actually be made somewhere in Expanded Universe Canon. It's not like it's even a huge issue that a charachter said such a thing in passing.
