well said! i have students myself that ask the same question(about systems). I was never able to verbalize that there is no 100 percent in pool. A game with infinite

variables, and factors, like pool, there is no 100 percent, guarenteed, foolproof system in pool, only percentages! All you can do, is show someone the correct thing to do, and hope they make the best of it. when a game like pool, isn't even immune to the affects of atmosphere, and humidity, you know there can be no certainties.

I compete and when I explain someone the bankshot, I use the diamond system (those dots along the rail) - 3 between the pockets, and you align your shots acording to the diamond position, way easier then just manual angle drawing.

i play at pro caliber level. no sh-it the dots are the called the diamond. i know all the systems. not just one system, but various system for all systems. but dig this, you're on a home table from your basement with 3 ball size pockets, but let me see you try using your so called system on a regulation table which is a 9 footer with triple shim or double shim. your not qualified to be an instructor. you're just a good talker.

I do play on 9 footers, and it works pretty well actually, I practise about 2 hours daily if I'm free, but like you said I'm not an instructor, just a competitor. yeah...this is pretty good i must say but it would help if you taught how to put english on the ball to change the angle of where the ball will go after it hits the bank
