I've cleaned up the lyrics a bit and have been singing this song to preschoolers for years. It's a perfect kid song, they eat it up. Any four-year-old can understand a teenage monster named Goo Goo Muck. It all started around Halloween 2004 when I was teaching a music class and tried to think of a monster song off the top of my head, and guess what popped out.

I'm sure this is the first Cramps gig I caught--at NYC's Peppermint Lounge in 1981--just a few months after I moved to NYC. Lux's and Kid Congo's stage clothes are as I remember, and more eerie...I THINK I see myself for a second or two in the crowd during Ivy's guitar solo. The video quality is poor but I'd bet this is it! I saw them numerous times after this, and they were ALWAYS great!
