this is my dog second pregnancy so I decided to take her to her mom because shes always finds comfort with her even when they where both pregnate plus they had the babies one week apart.

My dog hasn't been as active as she usually is she used run after the ball and jump all the time now she doesn't even pay attention to her chew toy she prefers to be laying down in front of a heater we have to keep the place warm and she hasn't been eating much. Please help :/

My dog had her heat cycle about 10 weeks. Yesterday, her belly area got swollen, her nipps. also did and she isn't as active as she used to be. I think she hasn't been eating as much. She is 3 years old and Is a black black. PLease help!

So how does my dog getting out of a fenced yard and getting pregnant make an owner irresponsible? I think that any owner would NOT allow their dog to just run freely, especially while in heat and its unfair to make that statement.

@TheCheesey1012 Well yea that is an accident. But that's why alot of shelters try to make an effort to help pet owners get discounts in getting dogs spayed/neutered because you're right, accidents do happen. In fact, if you adopt the animal from the shelter most times they'll have it spayed/neutered already or will help you get it done for free. So the BEST thing for a pet owner to do is to make sure they're unable to reproduce :)

If she's registered you need to look over the rules and regulations for the club she's in, A lot of clubs want the parents to be a a certain age for that reason. 6 months, she's still a puppy, that's too young to breed her.

What an adorable dog, she was so quiet and obedient. My dog does this when in an unfamiliar place. She would enver leave our side...very shy.

@ChickenNugget3467 I had my dog get pregnancy on the 1st heat but that is when accident when i bought her to my friend's place and she had the male undesxed dog and we look at it! but I think it is good wait for the second heat cos when the 1st heat come, it is about the age of 6 mths and it is not so good for the mental, emotional & physical for the bitch!

@lala32290 So maybe you can give it a go 'IF' really pregant, but u wouldnt know what is the breed of father's. and that will lead to many problems for the puppies such as diseases(internal worms, fleas & ticks), heart attack ..etc. Like my dog, I didnt saw her mating, but I knew what is the father and what is the prior health problem that breed of dog will have, so when the puppies are born, I can prevent those problems. Hope this help!
