Ok I see the last dribble, step, step, and jump. That's still a travel, you can take a step then jump, but not two steps then jump on a new step. That's three steps.

What I don't like is the hop and 2 steps the refs let everyone take when catching the ball at the top of the key. That's a fuckin travel!

Ok that is not a travel you are allowed to take a final dribble two steps and then up for a shot. You aren't allowed to catch the ball and take two steps, thats a travel, but you are allowed to take a step forward as the ball is reaching your hand, catch it and then move your second foot forward that second foot then becomes the foot you can jab with.
