  • Thanks for the reply! I was looking at the thinner plates because other videos stated they produce less heat, which is what we want. I tried using small SS cups, had good production but because of surface area a lot of heat at 30 amps. My next try will be using 1/8 thick, 9x9 SS wire in a double inlay coil

    setup +-+-, yes it's less surface area, for some reason it'll carry a lot of amps without the heat. Thanks again keep it up!

  • hi mikpil, the more sucessful producers seem to have more surface area, lots of neutrals. the wire configs contradict that. i'm adding more neutral plates to my config and adding an extra generator. my plates are staying cool but i've had to increase the size of the posts to 3/8th from 1/4. i do like ammaninox's coil design and will try it if i have the time. fizzy

    It's a joy watching your video! Don't stop, try to get 1000ML per minute. That's what we all would like to see. From the videos, it looks like the SS plates are .064 thick? There are suppliers that carry .032 have you looked into those? Could a thinner plate draw less amp's = less heat, I'm not sure myself?

  • hi MikPil. i think it is the other way around, if you put current through a small wire it will heatup faster. same with plates. the only way to draw less amps is less KOH. then you reduce production. there is an optimal thickness which i am not presently looking for. i want to get production with more amps and solve my heating with an in-line radiator.see the next video. it will be up later today. fizzy

  • hi deltahho, i will try to cover every edge and the bolts between the plates. usually the water is fine, i use KOH as well. i cleaned the plates with stainles cleaner and this is the first time i got water this color. i have 16 plates and 14 volts so i'm under that threashold. take a look at the next test. hopefully the liquid insulator stays on. fizzy.

  • Hi there Fizzy at the end you show us how you have put the glue on the edges of the plates I want to remind you that you must put glue everywhere that is not (in-between) the plates you don't want anything Bar inbetween to make contact with the water or you will just waste power around the cell Also never put anymore then 2v Per Plate it justs turns to heat and makes your water discolour I've run my cell for a total of 7h and the water still looks the same as it did when I first put in the KOH
