i just want to know what kind of paper you use? and he recipie to you icing i like to use vanilla icing do you have a recipie for that please get to me as son as possible
Hi @Sexiinena1243 -No problem, if you click on my YouTube username, it will take you to my channel page, and on the right is the link to my blog. There you will find all my tutorials and recipes. There is a royal icing recipe and there is a tutorial for making royal icing 'transfers', including the paper I used.
@xanthia0619 Absolutely! If you go to my blog (the link is in the channel description, for some reason it won't post here) and click on Recipes - click on Cookie Decorating Tutorial. The recipe is in there. Have fun decorating!
No problem Susie. You can do the transfer on parchment or wax paper. Getting it on the cake involves lifting it very gingerly and gently sliding it onto the cake. It helps if you have the design resting on a book, or other hard surface, (with the parchment or whatever in between of course), so that you can kind of slide it right on. Future video!
Would love to know if you can do the transfer on parchment paper OR was paper and then could you show how to get it on the cake? Your videos are awesome. :)
What an informative video and gorgeous piping work! I have to pipe 300 cookies today and I'm a little apprehensive, but I'm a little more confident now that I've seen your video. Thank you!
Hello! Congratulations for the excellent videos and website. I wonder if this video is used to outline the cookie, the same kind of royal icing for 10 seconds to fill the cookie. Tks. Perla and Carlos, Brazil.
would you mind doing a video about transfering and than also how you do the projection on your cookie? Those are the two things i need more help with. But love the way you explain, always helpful.
Thanks cuteeverything, naseemdelan and michaelamckitrick!
naseemdelan I always use the same royal icing recipe that I posted on the blog and one batch of icing will usually decorate about 1 1/2-2 batches of cookies. (Depends on the cookie design of course).
very helpful!!! I always wondered what the exact consistency would be like and now I have an exact measure. Do you always use the same recipe for royal icing that you posted on your blog and how much do you typically make for decorating a batch of cookies?

@sweetopiautube Thanks for your reply. I didn't get a notification that you had answered. :)
I baked some cookies today and made some royal icing. Hope to decorate tomorrow. I've only done cookies once years ago so we will see how it goes.
Thanks,
Susie

@sweetopiautube This was just what I was wondering - how you lift it and put it onto the cake.
Looking forward to the next video!
