He is a Catholic saint. This is about England. Besides, he thought that Rome should be able to tell all the countries what to do. I don't agree that the church should have that kind of power. The inquisition probably killed a couple thousand people over a span of about 500 years, modern countries do much much worse. This isn't history, every historian who sees it is appalled that they claimed it was 80% accurate when it isn't even 8%. It also, greatly over simplifies everything that was happening at the time. Its actually not the strange at all, the English language is more simple than you think, it merely steels words and sounds from other languages! Henry VIII's great grandfather was welsh and his surname was Tewdwr, hence it changing to a more English spelling of Tudor.
