  • Should i feel sad if i can recite this perfectly?>

  • @Bramblepath100

Nope. They are holy words and you should be proud you know them by heart.

  • Lmao, his delivery on, "A vote for Clinton is a vote for higher taxes, Bill". What a fucking pro.

  • 4:40 when he says pick it up reminds me of james dean in rebel without a cause when the guy throws the knife on the floor, i dont want any trouble

  • I'll pay the extra nickel.

  • gone too soon....are we sure it was smoling?

  • @ariasbrian pancreatic cancer

  • George Bush and his son disliked this.

  • i live in cowley

  • I left in love, in laughter, and in truth and wherever truth, love and laughter abide, I am there in spirit. RIP Bill

  • This guy was a truly outstanding comic...No, not comic, a sort of an old medieval "bouffon" who would have escaped the resignation of his peers to bite the hands of the "masters"...a funny critique...The more talented they are, the quicker deaths covets them...

  • how fucking bad is Cowley? I can't imagine anywhere as shit as Alabama?

    Please, Londoners help me understand

  • @UltimateSerge its pretty good actually! there's a carnival every year, great night-life. interesting residents. migh have been a bit crappy back then though. its quite an impovorished area

ive never been to alabama so i cant compare. isnt there loads of dinosaur bones in the ground there?

  • @UltimateSerge oh and cowley's in oxford, not london - clues in the title of the video

  • @UltimateSerge Cowley is the working-class part of Oxford.

  • i live in cowley !

  • @halfhide83 So do I

  • excellent.!

  • PICK UP THE GUN...

  • Bill is really amazing on this!

  • FUCKING LEGEND! If only he were alive today, I'd love to hear him on 911, war on terror (or civil liberties, depending where u get ur information) etc

  • @muleoftheeast Or the suppression of alternative cures for Cancer, which has resulted in the deaths of at least 45 MILLION Americans. Hicks wouldn't waste much time on 911. He'd be talking about Dr. Gerson's testimony before the Senate in the 40's and the book "When Healing Becomes A Crime".. Check out the documentaries "Healing Cancer from inside out" and "Dying To Have Known" .. also, the anti-psychiatry movement (see: Dr. Peter Breggin and the documentary "Making A Killing")

  • todays political environment will give him thrice the material of that time

  • Genius, would give anything to meet him.

  • Way before his time? No: he was OF his time and everyone else was miles BEHIND the time!

  • so strange bush's son finally got hussain. in a very non subtle manner

  • its a very american centric set but he makes it work for a british audience

  • Did he ever get to know about The Venus Project?

I think he would love it

  • @VenusFriend Bill Hicks and other comedians would be obsolete in a society talked about in the Venus Project.

  • I think he'd see it as the evil controlling uber power it wishes to be

  • What an atomic strength bastard he was.

  • Someone knows when and where in Oxford this show took place?

  • Quit arguing, jackoffs. Just listen and enjoy Bill Hicks.

  • Pick up the guuuun!

I don't want to mister you'll shoot me. I just came to get some hard rock candy for my kids and some gingham for my wife. I don't know what gingham is but I know she goes through about four rolls a week.

  • you all saw him. he had a gun.

  • Comment removed

  • pick it up! lol

  • I think the world needs someone like Bill Hicks desperately

  • Have you heard of Doug Stanhope?

  • Funny you should ask mate I caught my first glimpse of him a couple of days ago.

He's a very funny guy kind of the same vein as Bill

  • If Hicks was alive and Stanhope dead people would say Stanhope was way better, almost as funny as Lenny Bruce.

It's funny how most people love the dead.

Once you're dead you're made for life.

    - Jimi Hendrix

  • I haven't heard enough to judge yet mate, what i have though was really good, can you recommend any of his best gigs?

  • If you had asked me this morning I'd not have known who he was! Just surf YouTube, I've not found a really bad one yet.

  • A preacher ahead of his time, belived in peace and freedom, died around age thirty..........HE WAS JESUS! lol

  • @borednerd74

    He didn't take any of us with him up to heaven when he died.Uh oh. Aaw fuck... maybe we're left here for good with those wacky, nut-job conservative assholes and their half-retarded luny voters who sit there drooling, believing evry word barfed from their politician's mouths into their faces. He DID leave without us..We're probably gonna end up getting dragged, kicking and screaming, into the apocalypse with them!= )< : }

..Unless we preserve the integrity of his gospels of truth.

  • @seanotube85

I think whether or not he went to heven depends on the music up there :)

  • @borednerd74

    He was a jew?

  • Doubt it Lol

But he was raised Christian I think.

  • Baptist

  • Hicks and Carlin are the best American comedians of all time.

  • Hicks is my favorite but your gotta throw dave chappelle and richard pryor in the all time great group.

  • Mitch Hedberg.

    The End.

  • Hedberg is great has nothing to do with bill hicks though, terrible comment.

  • I might add Prior, Chappelle, and Jon Stewart as well. And Woody Allen and Andy Kaufman. And countless others but yeah you basically have the gist of it.

  • Yo imma let you finish but

  • Comment removed

  • @leninstreet

Probably the best comedians of all time, of any nationality - and I'm English.

  • @leninstreet I agree with the addition of Richard Pryor

  • @leninstreet Surely Richard Pryor deserves some credit as a top comedian of all time

  • @leninstreet they were great but they are dead.....listen to doug stanhope

  • @munchie944 fuck yeah doug is all we got left

  • pick it up! I don't wanna. you're gonna shoot me. lol

  • its from the early 1990's. Bill died in 1994 I think. Only 32 years old. Best standup comedian that ever lived. Rest in peace Bill.

  • You can see why they will have desperately sought to add him to their trophy killings, eg for dropping the hint (around 04:15) about how Russia was financed by the same international banks that have financed all the despots, dictators and terrorists, the same who own the central banks that create our currency out of thin air and masquerade as governmental institutions.

Greater love hath no man than to lay down his life for a friend (Jn 15:13). I think Bill qualifies for that.

  • My tinfoil hat is size 7 3/4. What size is yours?

  • if this guy was presedent life would be awsome( everyone would be high an drunk xD

  • NOT drunk, but high on pot and shrooms cause they might got legalized :-)

hicks always said "cigarettes and alcohol kills more people than heroin and crack....COMBINED! ....and c'&a' are legal and TAXED drugs...what a coincidence...".

  • yea ? everyone should be doin the Good drugs not the shit made in labratoris, exept maby acid

  • Viagra is made in laboratories, hemlock grows as a plant, beer is brewed in giants vats and tobacco is a herb. Get a grip on reality. Judge drugs by their effects, their costs and their side effects not how they are made or whether or not killjoys have decided they are too much fun to be legal.

  • liquor an whores, liquor an whores, ciggarets an dope an mustard an bilogne sandwichesss an whores

  • .and drugs would be taxed, deficit, economy, solved, hallelujah Bill

  • 'THANKS TO YOOU!!!' lol

  • What year is this?

  • y don't guy' like Bill have MORE influence on the world. hope when u come back to us a few more might wake up, if its not already too late.

thanks Bill Hicks for all you tried to do for us all.

  • "Skeletor"

    hahahaha.

George Bush, the elder, really looked like fucking Skeletor.

  • it's great to be here, wherever I am...I always love it when I'm here

Although I've never been here before, it's great to be back.

    Haha too wise.

  • Hicks was epic. A legend. A genius. A prophet. An amazing man. He speaks in other vids of good people dying before their time and the mediocre living on. He could not have been more correct about his own untimely death. And we are left with douchebags like Dane Cook and Carrot Top. Its really sad. Keep Bill Hicks alive by sharing his work.

  • i bet he would of ripped the shit out of the war in Iraq its such a shame he died before his time he was one of the few who tells it like it is on a mass scale

  • War on terror my ass.

  • @DarkStar4269 @DarkStar4269 i couldn't agree more and omg yes i saw some of dane cook's stand up online and WTF is that?? and he was playing to this massive crowd and they were laughing at his bullshit. That is so crazy and yes hicks was a genius and a lot of comedians did similar stuff about George Bush Jr. a couple of years ago but hicks still better :) legendary to the end.

  • @DarkStar4269 THat's cause the good people are all killed by the mediocre.

    Hicks died of 'cancer'.

    Hendrix: Murdered mysteriously.

    Michael Jackson: Murdered by sony.

Lennon: Murdered by the US Gov

    Kennedy: Murdered by the CIA

Bob Marley: Murdered by jamaican criminals (probably funded by the CIA).

    The list goes on.

  • @DarkStar4269 NotSoFunFact: Carrot Top won American Comedy Awards in 1994, just days after Bill`s death. If Bill knew about this manifest of humanity`s mediocrity he would turn in his grave, twice...

  • @BillHicks420 - least that'd put him back in the correct position... ;)

  • @DarkStar4269 why do people always keep ripping on carrot-top? he's not that popular, and he's trying to make a living with what he has, and he's not hurting anyone. he also had to work very hard to look male. come on leave him alone.

  • @DarkStar4269 Eh...carrot top xD

  • @DarkStar4269 carrot top? were not left with him :S

Hes purely famous for being SHIT!

  • Jack Palance in what movie!? i couldn't quite here what Hicks said there 4:28?

  • It's the movie 'Shane'.

  • anyone have the date...or even the year of this show?

  • i wish i could meet bill hicks to have him explain the world to me, in his way...

shur.. maybe in the next life!

  • Just think how amazingly funny he would be nowadays...

  • He would die of shock if he saw how the world is today..

  • Thanks Gerry D! :)

  • the CIA gave him cancer

  • Yes, they killed him at 33, like they did Jesus.

  • Hicks didn't believe in Jesus

  • He didn't believe in christianity. Hicks and Jesus spoke the same message, essentially.

  • Hicks believed in the principles of Jesus, that we are all one,and that we should treat eachother the way we would like to be treated ourselves. He preached a very similar message of peace.

  • that s kants cathegorical imperative! we always have these same messages all around the world all we need to do is not just understand it but act and live with these principles...

  • that was ozymandias :) !!

  • Cigarettes have a high cancer rate.

    Bill smoked cigarettes.

Gee, how did he get cancer?

  • Inanimate objects can not have high rates of cancer.

  • Your joking right? Smokes aren't known to cause cancer? In this parallel dimension you live in, is bacon a heart healthy snack? Is up down, etc? Bill is one of my top 10 comedians/speakers but I'm sorry it's no mystery he smoked - he died early. If he didn't smoke there's a good chance he'd still be alive & kicking ass on stage.

  • he didn't die of lung cancer though

  • I'm not saying anything about cigarettes causing cancer, that's pretty obvious. I'm saying cigarettes can not have high cancer rates as they are inanimate objects. I'm just nit-picking.

  • Or imprisoned by Bush a few years ago for making fun of him at the very least.

  • it's true. smoking has been positively identified in recent medical studies as the single greatest risk factor associated with cancer of the pancreas.

people don't understand what smoking does to the body as a whole. which is too bad.

yes, there's also a genetic link, but it is less well understood, and not necessary to contract the disease.

and, almost everybody who gets it, dies.

so be smart, folks. learn more about how cancer works.

    it's worth your time.

  • can you link this study? got a hicks quote for you...'non smokers die every day'...

  • there's lots of 'em. if you care at all, google it. you can also use the "pubmed" website (run by the NIH).

i don't care if you believe me or not.

look it up if you do, don't if you don't.

    but stop spouting nonsense.

  • and before you reply, ask yourself.... "have I ever read about this?" .... "have I ever studied oncology?"

if not, maybe you should consult people who have.

  • Comment removed

  • He died of pancreatic cancer, 20 to 30% of pancreatic cancer is caused by smoking. It is far more likely that his heavy smoking caused his cancer than the CIA created an anti-establishment martyr and made him appear 50% funnier into the bargain by murdering him. If they wanted to discredit him there are much better ways, like they did to Ted Haggard and Pee Wee Herman (that was a joke).

  • @MartinJWillett yea but it does not matter because there is no such thing as death and life is only a dream

  • That's a great idea to sell to warriors and peasants. You are no warlord and you are not the boss of me so kindly shove your objectionable mantra up your chakra. Peace.

  • @MartinJWillett I guess he was wrong about drugs then lmao. That's pretty wrong though to laugh at though.

  • as you probs know didn't get lung cancer, and there's no real link between any type of cancer outside of the respiratory system

  • that's just not true. smoking is the highest risk factor for pancreatic cancer.

not to be snide - but you should check the research before you say things like that.

  • Did he smoke? Cigarettes?

  • Are you being sarcastic or honestly serious?

yes, he smoked. He smoked like a fiend. Sad, he was an insightful guy.

  • lol, has to be rhetorical, he's got a cig in his hand in the pic in the vid :)

  • LOL rhetorical question?

  • i still think it weird that people that speak the truth of government corruption, including good old Bill seem to die young.. but the way he wraps it and make its funny so more people might hear the truth. Rip

  • good material.. Bill has some really good points

  • what year was this?

  • Nevar saw this. thanks for posting....

We are discussing hicks over at above top secret now....

  • England always believed in you Bill!!!

  • great thx for the upload

  • wow hearing this made my day thanks for the upload

  • i think john lennon would have loved bill hicks

  • i think a lot of people who have been silenced, slaughtered, and assassinated by our government would have loved bill hicks. and all he did was speak the truth, whether he liked it or not.

  • No he didn't you stupid f*ck, you're the kind of ignorant person he despises, He died of cancer in 90's , he is talking about George Bush senior, My god you are ignorant, He never thought everyone loved everyone, he just wished that was the case, instead he often displayed his disgust at humanity

  • You obviously don't get Bill...g'huh...surrrpriiise surrpriiise.

  • Bill Hicks was the MAN the LEGEND!!!

  • hardly an coincidence...

  • You all saw him, he had a gun. LOL

  • Love it where he starts singing "Ameeeerica...

  • irony is that bush's son was elected

i wonder what would bill do if he was still alive

  • turning in his grave me think's.

  • It scares me that he's talking about a time I was too young to now what was going on. And now we've let it all happen again. How short our memories are.

  • You assume I'm American?

  • "It scares me that he's talking about a time I was too young to now what was going on. And now we've let it all happen"

I checked your profile, and you claim to be from uk. We've havent let anything happend, we cant vote in us.

  • I meant "we" collectively - as a species, generation, collection of western nations, military allies, etc.

Although we cannot vote "we" could have pressured our own particular governments, been more outspoken to inform those who can vote, acted personally in the form of boycotts, etc.

  • erm-im a brit too, wasnt there some bloke called--erm what was his name-oh yeah TONY BLAIR who was a major factor in it... shit half of the "evidence" that was was used by the states regarding the "WMD" was concocted by BLIARS (That isnt a spelling error) cronies...we may not have the vote in the states but we sure as hell voted for that two faced lying treacherous sack of shit...

  • You must have done a lot of traveling...what with your knowing everybody in a single nation.

  • he was a prophet.

  • thanks Gerry, great vid

  • "how does it feel to find out, we are the evil empire?" RIP

  • BILL!!

  • 'thats my little western skit' haha

  • Good to hear Bill getting a good reception in Oxford!

  • not amazing at all. srs' father preskitt bush supplied the nazis steel and gunpowder until forced to stop by congress. war is money to these greedy fuckheads. kill all the bushes, cheneys, roves, their families, pets...

  • too bad they're all probably related

  • A 20th Century Monolith And Cap stone Apex Destroyer of The Taboo Of Funny Aloud Truths We All Share And Keep Quiet About. Get Ready, For The Human Race

  • I love Bill Hicks. Wish he was still here. He'd be having a field day...
