"E-cigs" are great for people that are already addicted to cigarettes. They should never be marketed as "Cool" or "Fun". Nicotine is an addictive drug and has negative side effects. That being said, I believe E-cigs are the future of "smoking" and should be embraced by the governments of every country in the world. Strict product quality controls SHOULD be enforced and marketing campaigns MUST be monitored. Without Tobacco, cancer caused by smoking would be virtually non-existent.

I believe the biggest of all problems would be that smokes smells... and this irritates people. Electronic cigarettes have no smell or second hand smoke. All nonsmokers I smoke around have no problem with these devices. Even the people who are alergic to smoke have no issues with being around someone who is smoking electronicly.

If the FDA gets involved it would be strictly financial. They would be doing so, just to profit. Think about it... FDA approved real cigarettes and we all know what they do to you. As for getting involved... it's only $129 and you should be able to recooperate that money in a very short time. Took my wife and I only 2 days to get our return and from there on it has been growing at an awesome rate.

At the very least... this is certainly a healthier alternative. Cigarettes have approximately 4,000 chemicals in them and 43 are known carcinogens.
