Seeing such a many people dancing together as one, in a unity, it's just beautiful! I have deep respects for every Japanese person who has ever danced this dance.
I love this dance!! I danced in for Mayday at my old high school!! It was awesome! A lot of fun, one of my favorite dances for Mayday. You have to have strong leg muscles for this dance however and be pretty flexible. Haha I still remember the moves for this dance.
lol my school is preforming this ...and a few other schools too, but our japanese class is filled with people shouting so-ran! and dokoisho! lol but anyway thanks for the video...even if the credits took forever...
I think that the credits and everything put into this was needed and that this was one of the most talented groups i have seen do So-Ran Bushi and i am so impressed.
hey bklockhart. since you were the instructor of this group, do you have any tips for doing the so-ran bushi? because i have to do in japanese for the unity festival. It's a lot of work!
I did it at school, best tips are to watch the moves closely and learn them steps at a time, then work on the whole thing and begin compiling parts together, then practice. Doing this with some friends or having an interest with it are good aspirations too. Hope this helped somehow.
You and Gojo have got a valid point. When I made this, though, as their instructor, I wanted to mention their school as well as show them some appreciation. They practiced SO HARD for this! Also, I was "experimenting" a bit with iMovie as it was relatively new for me. That said, how hard is it to let the "freakin'"video load and slide forward to the dance? Enjoy...
It is hard but I can do it and these guys have modified the dance heaps so even though my form is mostly better, their's looks better. But I'll tell you, after the 1st day of practice, your thighs hurt heaps but from there on in it gets easier every day and it helps if you are really flexible (which I'm not) so I think i'll go and work on that again now.....
we used to do this dance at elemtary school but im not sure bout they are still doing it these days

Because the video maker has to show his appreciation of the students.
