  • Great recipe. Simple and delicious. And Piazzolla in the soundtrack is formidable.

  • I like Polenta, i tend to make it with fry-light spray, and eat it with tomatoes and scrambled egg. It's a nutritious and easy food which i think get's pretty overlooked in the UK.

  • Great recipe. I enjoyed making these to pair with a pasta salad and tangy tomato soup.

  • I would prefer this oil. I think I am the only one on the planet that is not that fond of Olive Oil.

  • Thanks for the great videos! My mother-in-law and father-in-law (who were from Romania) used a special string to cut their polenta. I especially enjoyed the polenta history on the other video. Interesting stuff! Cheers!

  • @MrsGraceeh ROMANIA IS NOT IN ITALYYYYYYYYYYY ROMENI TUTTI ZINGARI!!!!!!!!!!

  • @italiana40

I know Romania is a country just like Italy is. But they still make polenta and ate it on a board and cut it with a special string. They made polenta and added a Romanian type of feta cheese into it. I have their recipe and it's very delicious. Below is the recipe for anyone interested.

  • Mamaliga Romanian-Style Recipe (Polenta)

    4 cups Water + 1 cup Corn Meal + ½ tsp. Salt + 1 ½ cups Feta Cheese, Dry + 1 cup Cottage Cheese

    Parsley For Garnish

Bring the water to a rolling boil. Whisking constantly, slowly add the cornmeal to avoid lumps. When all the cornmeal is added, add salt and return to boil. Turn heat down. Simmer until mamaliga starts to pull away from the pan, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat, set aside 5 minutes with the lid on, then stir in the cheeses. Servw
