Hair Update 13: Color/Colour Darkest Brown (Basically Black) To Golden Brown

The color looks great - I'm thinking about doing a reddish auburn color for summer

@curliefro thanks hun i was scared to do it initially but i've been reserching colour maintanance for a while now so took the plunge... as long as your hair is in good condition and you are willing to keep it that way thres nothing to be scared of... make sure you follow all instructions if you do! xx

You should dye the hairline and roots of the hair first, then the length. You must not wash hair before dying hair. The dye will not take. Best to apply dye on dirt hair. Use shampoo and conditioners for colour treated hair. Give your hair a protein treatment 3 or 4 weeks after dying your hair. When you redye your hair, dye the roots first and the lengths for the last 10 minutes. Sometimes you can get better colour match if you mix a dark brown and light brown dye.
