This song is one of my favorites from amazing Laura Branigan. The sound of this track reminds me mix of Madonna, Paula Abdul, Taylor Dayne and Samantha Fox. Anyway Laura is the most overlooked & underrated female artist in history (along with Sandra and Belinda Carlisle)

Um the song is immaculate in any version its a beautiful disco fun song its very donna sumer like but I like Gloria Estefanns version of the song a lot because she added a latin flavour to it with the miami sound machine and she shot the video pregnant now that is a true woman.

I love my Gloria Estefan and the production of Gloria's version but Laura's vocals are much more powerful. All you gotta listen to is the "you've got to get your thing off," especially on the CD version. I love them both...the original from the 70's I could never get into...but R.I.P. both Vicky and Laura.

I saw this one live on Regis show (back when he had Kathie Lee Gifford for co-host). I loved the original Vicki Sue Robinson version, but Laura out-did her 100%! Laura really packs some energy into the old song!
