  • Many thanks for your words, much appreciated. Really enjoyed working with Shakespeare because you can be so 'loud' cinematically - ie. employ techniques that would simply be poo poo'd if used on a regular film. Don't know if comes across in the clip but I used Hamlet's recent memory of his father's funeral to create an eerie feel and give a bit more punch to the speech. Have Press copies (ie. not the final edit) lying around, give me an address and I'll pop one over. All the best, Alex

  • superb version of one - if not the - most difficult of speeches to do and especially on film. Like the other clips from this film and would love to see it in its entirety. Your film is now being discussed at Shakespeare conferences.

  • yea impressive up there with the classics. well done

  • wow it actually sounds like he means what he sais, like most other actors I've seen do shakespears made up for the fact that they couldn't act by being loud or over the edge in what they were "supposed" to express. good job!

  • Congratulations: it is one hell of an achievement to shoot a feature film on a budget that is little more than pocket money. Judging by this clip it looks like you have produced something orignial and worth watchin. I look foward to seeing the whole film. Good luck with it.

  • Just doing the bits with the distributors, have got plenty of demo special copies if ya fancy.
