I've been doing BJJ for about a month now, so I know two sweeps: scissor and hip bump. I just learned this in a gi-class. Your excellent demonstration is a slight variation on what I learned, but it's very helpful. I've been able to use this against blue-belts or lower from 170lbs up; it's just as easy on the heavy weights. Any higher than blue-belt though and they just block me like an impenetrable wall. Then I sit back and go for the kimura and they just block that, too. Tips anyone?
