@vnesaa Frenchies probably aren't the best first dog. They are very stubborn and a little more difficult to train. They are especially slow in the potty training department. They are absolutely wonderful dogs, though! :)
@vnesaa They're great if you have the time and patience to train them properly. As Valbuhdee pointed out, they're quite stubborn and a little slow in terms of housetraining, but my first dog is a Frenchie (currently 7 months old) and she's absolutely great! Just make sure to socialize your Frenchie (puppy class was great for that) and to spend some quality time teaching him/her bite inhibition and give plenty of treats as rewards when potty training & you should be fine.
