funny u forgot to mention how hard it is to get to the o2 sensor on passenger side! on my car it was wedged far up between the frame behind all kingd of wiring! i couldnt get to it so i just cut and extended the wire! u guys only show all the easy stuff!
@joeaccord23 the exhaust diameter is dependent on your intentions wilt the car. for a N/A Street Car of a mild F/I Street car a 2.5" diameter will be prefectly fine. if you are building more a strip car (N/A or F/I) with some street driving, 3" will be better. A full on drag racer, i would just go with a fully custom build system. after all more air in, you need more air out. the other thing to remeber is size of the headers you will use also.

Awesome setup, great gains and good for later on with further upgrades. Sounds perfect to me. Add a cam and this thing will rock to the the tune of about 480+ rwhp.
Wow, car sounds great! I'm looking at options for my 08 as well and was wondering what version of the Corsa catback this was? I'm assuming its either the Touring or Sport. Thanks
I'll never understand why someone would buy an automatic in a Vette. I own a 2008 Vette, 6 speed MANUAL transmission. I'm a female that wanted a sports car. In my opinion, if you drive a corvette that's an automatic ... your a pussy!!
@pantera31169311 i agree and im a tech and still peoplke get on me so much about this. the only time a manual is really superior is during road racing or an autocross type of even where yoou are going to live in 2nd 3rd and 4th gears. and yes there are alot of guys taht can shif wery well and get great times at the track using a manual transmission but that doesnt make owning an automatic corvette or any sports car for that matter gay or anything that the ignorant fan manual fan boys like to say
on Corvette Forum I hear that the Kooks cats self destruct after about a year. Have you had any problems with the catalytic converters on the Xpipe?

The tips look much too low...too far from the car, too close to the ground....

Please don't insult my ignorance but are carbon fiber driveshafts made for Corvettes?? I'm wondering if the torque tube prevents an application.

so from 420 hp LS3 engine stock it made 388 hp to the wheels stock , and know 420 to the wheels with these mods how much to the engine??
curancho 2 years ago
@curancho If I calculated right, it would be about 455 from the engine crank.
pinoyfourlyf 1 year ago
Actually 420 to the wheels is approximately 490 engine hp.
jnel04 1 year ago
so which corsa mufflers did they use in this video ... was it the sport or the xtreme
chaldo84 1 year ago
@curancho 455 hp. cross multiply the hp and whp numbers.

Is this setup CARB certified? I live in Los Angeles and I'm very interested in this setup, but I want to keep my C6 smog legal.
rick9712 2 years ago
There are no longtube headers that are CARB certified.

so is that the best exhaust for a c6 ?
cpimpino6 2 years ago
It is a very good one, but I really wouldn't reccomend the bigger exhaust unless an big motor, supercharged application was being used.

r4104 ... You can get a lot of information on LS1Tech web site. It's a Great site for any, and I mean any information on a car. Good Luck.

No shit all drag cars are auto lol the closest thing to manual you will find is a sequential

So the LS3 Camaro should be able to reach ~500 rwhp from headers, x-pipe, and cat-back?
XD The Mustang is DONE.
wasp010 3 years ago
Why would it do that when this LS3 only put out 421rwhp? An LS3 needs a heavy cam + headers, x-pipe, CAI and tune to reach 500rwhp.
cvalk 2 years ago
the get 33 more HP without tuning or with tuning becouse i'm will install the same system in my Ls3
buamim 3 years ago
Yes no tuning was done on this vehicle.
