There are a ton of people who still play Halo for the PC and Halo Custom Edition Multiplayer. Halo 2 Vista still supports Multiplayer but the popularity of that installment of Halo has waned over the years. There are literally 5 to 10 times more players on Halo Custom than on H2 for the PC. Most of the PC Halo enthusiasts are people from a wide age range so don't think the younger gen gamers do not know the history and roots of where this great series came from. Thanks for reading..

@MegaBlah97 Halo 2 was the second best halo game, IMO. They shut down the servers, I believe, around the time ODST was getting ready to launch. They had the Halo 3 servers up as well, so they took down Halo 2. I sure wish they'd put them back up.

Reach isn't even Halo. It's CoD with a Halo skin and it drives me nuts. I loved the first 3 games but I haven't touched the series since it fell off and if it doesn't go back to the old I'm done with it.

@jtermin4t0r Very very hard belive it or not. They would need to make a new networking code and everything. it would take at the least another year to get it all to work right. not to mention a new engiene needed to support xbox live. your best bet for original is get the PC version.
@polsdofer A lot of us do lol, as do I. I think this offers both a Reach gamemode with all the Reach kids who like Armor lock and a shitty DMR as well as a classic mode for us classic fans. If that's the case, then I'm fine. If it's just one mode (Classic Mode, or Reach Mode), theirs a higher chance of the game not being successful. If the game isn't soliciting towards multiple genre's of gamers, then it obviously will have a smaller player base. Reach players for us classic Halo gamers=bodies.
@polsdofer no its CE campaign and adding the CE maps to the Reach multiplayer but making new classic playlists and tweaking the game, such as bloom armor-lock and much more and its only 40$ :)

i really dont like the idea of having armor abilities on the maps. Halo 1 multiplayer was fine as it is the only problem was no xbox live. They should just leave it like it was or at least make the classic mode be EXACTLY the way it was: No shitty armor abilities just straight up classic FPS and then they can have the anniversary mode have all the armor abilities and new shit.
@babadef I totally agree. That would be a great improvement. IMO, ever since Halo 3, the whole series has been going down. Halo ODST's campaign was not nearly as good as Halo 3's campaign, and Halo Reach's armor abilities are just ways to stall the game, or ways to run away from the enemy.
There is NO game like Halo series in gaming history, the music the way you play, the feelings and other more stuff than - i dont know about you guys- i can get only through playing Halo...Greetings to all! Halo will always be my favorite game.

@saw2357 it is a game not dlc. its a disc game it costs 39.99 US and it has i believe 6 classice multiplayer and one firefight map for reach. i think that will be in the form of a code that ovi comes with the game. or maybe u download it from the disc idk. but go check out the firefight map (if u can find a half decent vid) its pretty sweet and u now have a.i. marines on ur side

@Metallicaxyx you don't get the true halo 1 pistol. at least not for multiplayer anyway. its the pistol they brought in halo reach and yes they sound and look the same but they are not the same. halo 1 pistol didnt fire that fast and the rounds were faster and stronger. halo reach's pistol shoots faster but the rounds travel slower and are weaker

@jtermin4t0r Very very hard belive it or not. They would need to make a new networking code and everything. it would take at the least another year to get it all to work right. not to mention a new engiene needed to support xbox live. your best bet for original is get the PC version.

@polsdofer A lot of us do lol, as do I. I think this offers both a Reach gamemode with all the Reach kids who like Armor lock and a shitty DMR as well as a classic mode for us classic fans. If that's the case, then I'm fine. If it's just one mode (Classic Mode, or Reach Mode), theirs a higher chance of the game not being successful. If the game isn't soliciting towards multiple genre's of gamers, then it obviously will have a smaller player base. Reach players for us classic Halo gamers=bodies.

i really dont like the idea of having armor abilities on the maps. Halo 1 multiplayer was fine as it is the only problem was no xbox live. They should just leave it like it was or at least make the classic mode be EXACTLY the way it was: No shitty armor abilities just straight up classic FPS and then they can have the anniversary mode have all the armor abilities and new shit.

@babadef I totally agree. That would be a great improvement. IMO, ever since Halo 3, the whole series has been going down. Halo ODST's campaign was not nearly as good as Halo 3's campaign, and Halo Reach's armor abilities are just ways to stall the game, or ways to run away from the enemy.

@saw2357 it is a game not dlc. its a disc game it costs 39.99 US and it has i believe 6 classice multiplayer and one firefight map for reach. i think that will be in the form of a code that ovi comes with the game. or maybe u download it from the disc idk. but go check out the firefight map (if u can find a half decent vid) its pretty sweet and u now have a.i. marines on ur side

@Metallicaxyx you don't get the true halo 1 pistol. at least not for multiplayer anyway. its the pistol they brought in halo reach and yes they sound and look the same but they are not the same. halo 1 pistol didnt fire that fast and the rounds were faster and stronger. halo reach's pistol shoots faster but the rounds travel slower and are weaker

One thing that Im extremely disappointed about is that there isnt any Flood in firefight. Wtf is up with that? This is HALO combat evolved Anniversary, and you bring back firefight with a sick ass map, but no flood?! COME ON GUYS...
