The magician's job is to entertain the audience not to "trick" them and make them look stupid. Revealing a trick can ruin the effect for both magicians AND spectators... it can cut both ways. I'm not saying this is a horrible thing but it definitely degrades magic

Warp speed (Alcubiere Drive) isn't about accelerating faster than light, it's about curving space around the object and it would seem to move faster than the speed of light from an outside observer since speed is relative.

All magic tricks that possibly exist are already revealed in books. Magicians know this.
