  • Goddamnit.

Did any of you people ever go to elementary school?

Did you forget what happens daily, on probably any school playground in the world, between children?

The funniest part of this is that so many of you are SHOCKED by this behavior.

You grew up and got suckered into a delusion that THIS world is very different from THAT world.

    Programming complete.

  • It´s cruely what every human can do, even if he always says "I hate hunting I hurt no one".

In my opinion the result is, that most people can kill. That´s what they said to us in german television, and some experts meant that too. It´s quite terrible to think about it, thinking about a neighbour who could kill just because of things like television...o.O*

  • @Rimfaxe96

But we've always known most humans have the capacity to kill other human beings. For god's sake, we're doing it NOW.

Its when we've forgotten this obvious fact that these "experiments" seem to shock (pun intended) the moral sensibilities.

And what does "german television" have to do with it?

We're talking 70's American behavioral sciences first, and now French Game Shows.

People are pushing small buttons, right now, like in a video game, and killing other human beings.

  • @spunkets

The simple reason why I said "german television" is not about this Second World War stuff, but the simple fact that I live in said country. ;)

  • @Rimfaxe96

This is a distraction from reality. Its telling us what we already know, and distracting from what's really happening, right now, in real time. And its a fucking game show.

If this (ahem) virtual experiment offends your moral sensibilities, how much more so then might Reality?

  • @spunkets I don't see how one of the most primitive instinct of the human can be titled as distraction from reality. It is reality, but whether people simply got used to it or just don't think about it.

And I don't know why you brought such a question up, but it doesn't offend my moral sensibilities? Or does it offend yours?

World and reality are a chaos. Deal with it, ignore it or commit suicide, it's sad but true.

  • @Rimfaxe96

You said yourself, "Its cruel," "its terrible to think about," "its sad."

So teach me. Tell me what motivates you in such a world.

  • @spunkets Yes, it is terrible. But most people go on instead of living in the past, me too.

Or do you really think that I think about nothing but cruelty, drama and so on? o.O

  • @Rimfaxe96

    Oh that's right.

    You prefer a virtual world.

  • @spunkets No, you deny the obvious it seems to whoever doesn't agree with your views. Very mature.

  • this shows that any human being is capable of evil. It doesnt make since why humans seek to cause so much pain to others. And they are too ignorant to think for themselves.

  • @GoldBone626

    SO TRUE.

  • @GoldBone626

BUT WHO THE HELL DIDN"T ALREADY KNOW THAT ANY HUMAN BEING IS CAPABLE OF EVIL?

  • We do what we're told.

  • SIMPSONS DID IT !!!

  • @magikman79 SO TRUE!!!!!!

  • the Milgram experiment

  • Shock me too man i wanna die already.

    Fuck life.

  • How... Shocking! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Zing.

  • WE need this in D.C. here i dont think many would be left since they all lie cheat and steal

  • So wait. I'm not clear here, was the shock real or fake?

  • The shocks were fake, but the 'contestants' who were giving them didn't know that. Basically they thought they were causing pain and suffering to another human being and they just did it because they were told to.

  • @sckchui

What do you mean they didn't know it? How do you know they didn't know it? Maybe they realized it was a big joke, just like the thousands who watched.

    Whoa.

  • @spunkets

"A big joke"? What's funny about it? Even if you know it's fake, what's funny about pretending to give a person electric shocks and the guy pretending to be in extreme pain? Nothing. The whole thing is just messed up, whether it's real or fake, and no one should participate either way.

People like you are the sheep, going along with everyone else, thinking that everything is ok because everyone else seems to think it's ok.

  • @sckchui

How do you know these students didn't know this was an experiment on them?

Did the video clarify this? Not to my satisfaction. Why? Do you realize they were ON CAMERA during these "experiments," and knew they were on camera?

Do you understand how being on camera affects human behavior?

If you take these dynamics into consideration, and the likelihood these students had already studied Milgram, I think you might begin to see how they probably knew THEY WERE the experiment.

  • @spunkets

Do you even know what the word "experiment" means? You're just typing bullshit because you're desperate for someone to respond to you.

  • @sckchui

I was waiting on you, of course, to make a fucking point.

  • There were no shocks, they just wanted to show people that they are sheep in a game.

  • Oh! my god, what that a US senator! :0

  • OooLaLa!

    Hook me up Baby!

  • This is no surprise. But good for the stupids to learn that this is how we humans work.

  • The Ashe experiment?

  • @elspoko The Milgram experiment. The Ashe experiment was the peer pressure one.

  • @DZFoxtrot Thanks, I always get the two mixxed up. Been a few years since I took any kind of sociology/psych class.

  • This is bad!

  • lol would be funny if some1 found out during the show it was fake and just pushed the bottun with the highest voltage =D

  • scary what people are willing to do
