I find it amusing how you say I'm making an ass of myself (with very poor grammar, might I add) by trying to sound sophisticated and what have you - but there isn't any attempt to /try/ and make myself sound sophisticated. I write longer replies because I'm thorough as well as literate - I like to get my point out. My point being, you seem to think your word is law, and you are superior - you're not.

@GregRobinson156 I'll never convince you that you're wrong, you're far too hard headed for that - however, I know people who have listened to a majority of the bands you listed and also agree with my points - even people I don't necessarily like.
I hear you on a weak Christmas though. Nothing like hating half of your family and putting up with that half for three days straight.

It also doesn't help the holidays get any better when you always manage to have a HUGE fight with your parents on Christmas Eve, and at least one of you storms out and doesn't come home until midnight. xD

@Zanryu i'm at the point where i could care less about christmas, i already don't even like thanksgiving, and i'm starting to not like halloween. the only holiday i find any satisfaction from is 4th of july just because its okay to blow shit up on that one day.

Lots of hardcore bands split up to do other projects FOB is just really a successful sideproject

@Ragedhard In the first place? That's exactly what Andy Hurley (or "drummer from FOB") did. Way before FOB he was several hardcore bands more vicious than Burning Empires. One such band was Racetraitor, and another was KilltheSlaveMaster:
