But having that deep seated a hatred for the military - that you begin to reconsider a relationship over it - is frankly, thankless, short sighted and immature. When I was 16, my older brother and I did a 3 week loop: Chicago, Calgary, Vancouver, San Francisco, Las Vegas, back to Chicago. At 17 I did Chicago - Seattle, San Francisco and at 18 did Chicago to San Francisco. Did you know you can drive from Chicago to Reno in only 48 hours? Yup.
now that you live in oregon, you need to know how to pronounce it. it doesnt sound like polygon. you'll see bumper stickers that say "orygun" - thats how its pronounced. you'll also have to learn to say things like willamette, the dalles, couch, etc.

He joined because he wanted financial stability; he's not actually into the fighting part. Haha. But, you know, I supported him as an individual. 3rd thing. congrats on moving to Oregon. I had a chance to visit there in March for a wedding and I liked it a lot. Check out Park Ave. in the SW qtr. immediately

1st thing, people pronounce it different depending on where they're from! Some people DO pronounce it Or-eh-gon, just apparently not actually in Oregon.

I was always wondering how you could really support James being in the military after I read this entry on your blog. I also liked James in your videos and wondered how he could do a thing like that.

He joined because he wanted financial stability; he's not actually into the fighting part. Haha. But, you know, I supported him as an individual. He worked hard and got a great job working in nuclear medicine! He really impressed me, despite the fact that he was involved in something I wasn't really fond of.

Im moving from Florida to California in January, due to an offer I couldnt pass up either, and am driving all the way there too. Oh I think he already realizes it. On the phone right before we broke up, he said he wishes he had listened to me and never joined. But what's done is done, and I hope he makes the most of it. He joined thinking I'd just go along with it. He underestimated the strength of my beliefs. :\ I don't know about being reunited though, haha.

I saw your pictures on Flickr, I'm from just north of Louisville, and the bridge you went over that you said you loved is amazing. It's kinda scary because it's a double decker, and when you go from Indiana to Kentucky you're underneath the amazing part, which is kinda scary. But yeah, those kinda made me a little homesick since I'm away at college, haha.

wow, a huge change. i made pretty much the same trip except to seattle from pensacola fl. went to devil's tower, recreated close encounters of the third kind lol. it was a life changing experience for me too. i miss the mountains. you are amazing, please keep making vids, you are the best. peace out girl scout
