  • Would you say this was the start of you turning into your goth catwoman era you have going on now??

  • I didn't tell you at the time, but this video broke my heart. A little.

  • James gave you the news about his HIV test coming back positive?

  • @72RocksOff It's okay to be jealous. Black cock issssss pretty enticing.

  • I looked at the photos of your trip and it looks like you drove through Louisville, Kentucky. I live there and I would have really enjoyed meeting you. I haven't visited your channel in awhile but I've been viewing you on YouTube ever since 2006 when I watched your "Emily Wanders Aimlessly" video. I still love watching it from time to time, it's a YouTube classic as far as I'm concerned. I'm subscribed to you as djayray. I'm glad your happy in Oregon and wish you all the best.

  • shut tha fuck up damb ur to lonely!!!

  • @triggerfingerrunwild Well thank you for those words of wisdom.

  • I'm glad you're happy. I'm actually from Portland, I live down in Salem for college now. Just so you know, we pronounce it "Or-uh-gihn." :P

  • Haven't seen any of your videos in a while, glad to be updated. Sorry to hear of your breakup, glad you're happy in Oregon. Peace :)

  • this video is sad =(

  • Er... how?

  • James and you broke up

  • Yeah, but we're both fine so there's really no reason to be sad.

  • GUN! Or-eh-gun! Not gone.

  • @scandalousjen I do prefer the "gun" pronounciation however you should know that "Oregon," much like many other words, are pronounced differently depend on the region in which they're being spoken. Many east coast people pronounce it "gone."

  • wow! you amaze me! i often have conversations about how people are so scared of being alone that they cling to relationships and don't really live. i am extremely proud of you for being able to let go so you can both live your lives to their fullest! you said in a comment, "when two people want completely different things out of life, it would be simply cruel to force one to sacrifice their dreams for the sake of love. That, in fact, is not love at all." so true! you are inspiring! :D

  • @jadynxflamingo You're entirely right about people clinging to relationships that aren't right for them anymore. They really really really do. I don't plan on ever being one of those people. Thank you so much. :)

  • Yes it does sound crazy.

It's because of the military that pacifist like you can be free to have the life you want.

If it was up to the pacifist we would all be Germans.

You're already living with a guy just days after you broke off with the one you so called love.

You don't sound like your telling us the truth which is O.K. but don't pretend you did it for reason of morality or philosophy .

  • @bornbillsmith I believe that all kinds of people are necessary - solider, pacifists, and the indifferent. We all play our part and the world needs all of us. There is nothing wrong with soldiers but there is also nothing wrong with me not wanting to marry a soldier.

William is my best friend and I have known him years longer than I have known James. I moved in with William BEFORE James and I broke up. William is irrelevant in this matter.

  • That's my point.

You moved in with William before you broke up.

Do you know how bad that makes you sound.

What do you think you were doing.

Don't you believe before you moved in with someone you should have ended one relationship before starting the next one.

How would you feel if James tells you that besides you he has someone else.

You wouldn't see anything wrong with it and

wouldn't question his lack of commitment to your relationship.

By moving in with James you did that.

  • @bornbillsmith It makes me sound bad, if the person listening spends too much time judging and making assumptions. I do not and never had someone else. William and I are not in a relationship. If I were going to date William then I would have in the four months that I've been here, but I have not. He is just my friend and James was fine with our friendship.

Now please, mind your own business. I'm sure you have your own things to attend to. My life really shouldn't be on your to do list.

  • @bornbillsmith *soldier

  • Spelling is overrated

My spelling stinks as well as my grammar.

It's ideas, feelings and actions that matter.

I do find it interesting you felt compelled to

    correct your spellings.

I use to think that I was less then intelligent because I made certain mistakes

Then I realized that there are people who were able to communicate better then I could but didn't have anything worth saying.

You appears to be an intelligent person.

The question is do you have anything worth saying.

  • @bornbillsmith I just like to make sure people understand what I'm saying. And that, I don't know. I guess it depends on who you ask. Check your messages.

  • Wow! I don't know what to say except I guess I thing it's right for you to stand up for your principles. Why did he he join?

  • @SuicideFriendly He joined so he could be financially stable.

  • But...I'm glad for you and accomplishing your dreams one by one. You are very brave and very motivated and I applaud you for it. You inspire me.

  • I am so unbelievably depressed...wow. Wow...hmm. : (

  • @potatosalad26 You need not be depressed.

  • Pacifism goes against nature just about every mamal on earth fight for territory of the right to mate can't believe u broke up with james over something that stupid u would have been able to travel the world with him

  • @Stargrave He broke up with me.

  • OH MY GOODNESS!! I am so happy that you've moved to Portland. You were the first person i ever subscribed to on YT. Lets be friends!! :)

So sorry to hear about your breakup. :(

  • Sad and Happy for you all at the same time. Mostly Happy since that's the best state to be in. Isn't it wonderful that Oregon named a mountain in your honor!!

  • Too bad your relationship with James has since been disbanded, but welcome to Oregon...

  • Okay, I have to call you out on the "hopless pacifist" thing. This is not advice, as I am just a stranger on the internet. Its okay, even good, to be a pacifist. Peace is where its at, and its very very cool. But having that deep seated a hatred for the military - that you begin to reconsider a relationship over it - is frankly, thankless, short sighted and immature. Those men work to protect their countries, and do so with their lives. It's a reality that the military exists cause it has to.

  • sorry 2 hear about james...

    hope ur ok =]

  • Yeah, like everyone else said: it's Or-e-gun.

Cross country trips are great, often life changing cuz they really open yr eyes. When I was 16, my older brother and I did a 3 week loop: Chicago, Calgary, Vancouver, San Francisco, Las Vegas, back to Chicago. At 17 I did Chicago - Seattle, San Francisco and at 18 did Chicago to San Francisco. Did you know you can drive from Chicago to Reno in only 48 hours? Yup.

  • i bet she met another guy

  • now that you live in oregon, you need to know how to pronounce it. it doesnt sound like polygon. you'll see bumper stickers that say "orygun" - thats how its pronounced. you'll also have to learn to say things like willamette, the dalles, couch, etc.

  • Hi,

Sorry to hear about the breakup, but all sounds good, so congradualtions on that; and . . .

    Welcome to the West Coast!

I grew up here, I'm in Vancouver, Just the other side of Washington State there.

The West Coast is very nice, and is even better, now that you have arrived. Don't go anywhere.

    Peace.

  • God you are incredibly beautiful. :D And you're so nice and sweet. You're an angel. O:)

  • oh WOW. i never suspected you and James breaking up. but at least you are happy and enjoying your new life!!

    :)

  • Aww I'm so glad you're happy. :)You look great babe, lovin the long hair.

  • Actually, we say OHR eh gn--not OHR eh Gone. Anyway, welcome to your new states!

  • Hey Em, thank you for sharing your life. Lots of changes huh?? I saw your pictures of the trip, and I was disappointed because you were not in any of the pictures! Anyway, keep on sharing... I'm watching...

  • I wish you all the best, in any and all lives you will lead, I watched this a lil late obviously, and as a watcher im a bit sad about you and James, but I get military feeling like you have.

    Stay safe, and have fun!

  • Comment removed

  • Actually she says Oregon correctly I had a whole tutorial from a guy from Oregon in high school since I pronounced it organ lol

  • Hahaha yeah man. I used to pronounce it differenly but then everyone kept making fun of me for "wanting to move to organ"

  • You say Oregon totally wrong!

  • Or I just say it different, omg!

  • oooohhhh i get it now :]].. sorry didnt see this video before your new one. Im sorry to hear about james breaking up with you, but i know i would be very fustrated with being a wife married to a military.

  • Geez, your parents went ballistic man, when you said about that engagement, the front room looked like a god damn klan rally right there! Only joking babe. Glad you're liking it there babe, it's a really nice place from what I've heard.

  • lol. It wasn't even my family who went ballistic. My family didn't LIKE that we got engaged but they weren't giving me hell about it. His family REALLY didn't like it though.

  • If I can be bold I would say 'too young'. I have childhood friends, the homely type, who settled down early but that suits them. For me I saw no harm in roving around for a decade or so, to try to develop some kind of a philosophy of life. Hmm, still working on it!

  • u say it funny=0) lol ..& sorry to hear about james & you...owell life goes on

  • Wish you much luck with the new beginning.

    Oregon is beautiful and green.

  • @SirIsaacNewton It is SO beautiful and green here, I love it. Thank you!

  • im really sorry to hear about you and James! you guys were so great together, and it really makes me sad to hear that things didn't work out. Anyway, i'm glad you're enjoying Oregon!

  • Makes me sad too :( But life is life.

    Thank you!!

  • Oh no :(

I think you guys should get back together, you guys inspired me with the whole interracial relationship. and whats more YOU GUYS WERE HAPPY TOGETHER!!

Trials and Tribulations occur and we have to work at it

  • We can still inspire you, even though we broke up. We still inspire me, at least. And we were happy together until the end. I am aware that trials and tribulations occur and must be worked through, otherwise it wouldn't have lasted as long as it did. But when two people want completely different things out of life, it would be simply cruel to force one to sacrifice their dreams for the sake of love. That, in fact, is not love at all.

  • :(((

  • Teehee, im moving to Portland Oregon in about 10 months. :D

  • WE WILL HAVE TO MEET.

  • thats cool. yea my ex and i just got back together (not totally sure how i feel about it), and he just joined the army. i'm not too cool with it either, but we'll see how it goes. long distance sucks anyway. enjoy being a single lady, it can be fun!

  • Oh dear. Long distance isn't too bad though. I mean, it's what you make of it. If you make distance a big deal then it will be a big deal. If you recognize that distance is nothing more than distance, it's okay. That's how it was for me anyway. The long distance didn't bother me, it was the fact that he was in the military that bothered me.

  • You asked for music recommendations. The Like just reformed and they have a spiffy new song called, "Fair Game" which I have a feeling you might like. Go to ilikethelike <- add the dots and coms stuff. It redirects you to their myspace site where you can get the free song.

Let me know what you think of it either way. Added bonus, they're on the west coast normally so you just might be able to attend a concert or two, if you do that sort of thing.

    Many <3's.

  • oh my god, just google fpr "Stefanie Heinzmann" you could be twins^^

  • You're single?! Sweet! Look me up. ;)

  • I haven't watched your videos in ages, I remember your first one you said you were from NC, and I was like.. ahh me too!

haha but I'm happy for your change of life as well your newfound happiness, you seem happier.

    Pictures are wonderful too.

by the way, nice captain morgan box in the background. :P

  • Thank you thank you! Are you still in NC?

And that box was for packing!

  • Yeah, I live at the island off the coast... yay for tourist traps! :D

Haha yeah I figured, good ol' alcohol boxes. :]

  • You live on the Outerbanks?!

  • Yessah, have you ever been? :]

  • Yeah man. Many childhood vacations to the outerbanks. :)

  • It's been so long since I've watched any of your videos, but as soon as I saw this title, I suspected at least the breaking up part between you and James.

Best of luck in your new life. You seem to have it together pretty well.

    "Hey James, knock knock"

    "Who's there?"

    "Interrupting Cow"

    "Interrupting C-"

    "MOOOOO"

*ahem* It's how I discovered your videos. Keep looking up and forward, and you'll get where you're going in no time.

  • Hahahah. I love my knock knock video. Thank you very much!

  • Oh my!! It's sad to hear that you and James broke up! I feel like I know you so well by following your videos. My husband thinks I'm nuts for listening to someone talking about her life on YouTube, but oh well. Anyways..Any new art?? Are you still painting?

  • Hahah. Maybe your husband is nuts for NOT listening to someone talking about her life on Youtube.

I am still painting but very few and far between, and very crappily.

  • Oh, that's sad! You should get back into it. I always thought your painting were unique. You should set up your own small art gallery.

  • :) I am just no good at painting though! I wish I were. I am just so disappointed with everything I create.

  • good luck, and kudos for being so positive.

  • Thank you!

  • good luck!

  • Thanks :)

  • sadface...james is a good dood. i agree with your pacifist stance and respect you for choosing you principles.

  • :) Thanks for that. He is a great person, and I wish him the best.

  • 1st thing, and you have probably been told this a million times already, it's pronounced organ not oragohn.

2nd thing. sorry you broke up. that always sucks big time.

3rd thing. congrats on moving to Oregon. I had a chance to visit there in March for a wedding and I liked it a lot. Check out Park Ave. in the SW qtr. immediately

  • 1st thing, people pronounce it different depending on where they're from! Some people DO pronounce it Or-eh-gon, just apparently not actually in Oregon.

    2. Thanks <3

    3. Thank you! It is pretty cool, and very beautiful.

  • captain morgan....nice.

  • Who knows, you've got a whole lot of living left to do- you guys might cross paths again. :)

  • You never know! Seems unlikely though, since he'll be in the military for the next 6 years. Haha.

  • I was always wondering how you could really support James being in the military after I read this entry on your blog. I also liked James in your videos and wondered how he could do a thing like that.

I'm happy for you and how things worked out.

  • He joined because he wanted financial stability; he's not actually into the fighting part. Haha. But, you know, I supported him as an individual. He worked hard and got a great job working in nuclear medicine! He really impressed me, despite the fact that he was involved in something I wasn't really fond of.

    Thanks, friend!

  • Im glad you made this video. I was wondering what happened to you.

  • Haha. Well hopefully I'll pop out another video soon.

  • You know you could be my girl if you want if things go bad

  • sick life...

  • Sick could mean good or bad, haha.

  • aww, i fele sorry for you, E. i hope things work out for you. ;D oh, and you drove through my state, i live in indiana.(:

  • Don't feel sorry for me, things are good!

And ahhhh, that's awesome. Sorry I couldn't stop and say hello. :P

  • Well, I know how much you & James loved eachother. I know, right! Yeah, that'd be so cool. ;D I live kinda close to indianapolis, like, an hour drive. ;D heyy, you should add me on gosupermodel. i'm: silent dreams?

  • I'm glad you're doing well! I would not be able to live with the military in my life either.

  • :) Thank you!

  • mikma wasd here

  • Hi mikmaaaa

  • being a military wife isnt so bad. but then again, it's not for everyone. glad you're moving on.

  • I'm sure it's not bad for everyone, but for ME it would be horrible, haha. Thanks!

  • Wow, sounds like you've been through a lot in the past few months, but it also sounds like you're happy, which is always good. :) I hope you enjoy your new life in Oregon!!

Oh and by the way, I like your shirt, Beatles are amazing. :D

  • Thank you! And yes, I looooove the Beatles. The only band I find worth wearing on a shirt. :P

  • Haha that's not true for me, pretty much the only shirts I wear are band shirts. :P

  • Hahah. Well for me, they're the only band worth advertising.

  • As if they aren't advertised enough already. :P

  • Im moving from Florida to California in January, due to an offer I couldnt pass up either, and am driving all the way there too. It makes me feel a little more at ease about it as its sinking in, that there is happiness on the other side, and that it can be done. thanks for this video! sorry about the break up, but good for you holding strong to your convictions, looks like youre gonna be alright :)

  • NICE! Well have a great trip, you'll be going through beautiful places. It's so pretty out West. Thank you!

  • Wow, I'm really sorry things didn't work out with you two. It really sucks sometimes when "life happens" as you put it. But I'm glad you seem to be doing ok with everything. You'll have a great time and lots of new adventures in Portland.

  • :) Thank you!

  • Have you ever seen

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind?

    It relates to relationships.

  • I've seen it! Good movie.

  • Remembering (under a translucent mantel of sheets) he does not want to forget her.

  • James is better off. Good luck James.

  • How is he better off?

  • Not to say he won't be better off! I hope he will be. I want the very best for him, he's an incredible person.

  • Soo sad that he broke up with you:(

  • It's okay, I'm still happy :)

  • YOU ROCK! CONGRATULATIONS on your New Life you seem much more content now and I am glad you got to see what a great country we live in. Congrats to James as well Military life should do him well and you should be proud of him for defending the Country we love. God Bless you and your best friend and James.

  • Thank you so much! That was a really nice comment.

  • oh and for the record....i think James will realise the military isnt worth sacrificing his true love for....and you 2 will be reunited and live happily ever after in the mountains surrounded by flowers and bunnies :o) lol...

  • Oh I think he already realizes it. On the phone right before we broke up, he said he wishes he had listened to me and never joined. But what's done is done, and I hope he makes the most of it. He joined thinking I'd just go along with it. He underestimated the strength of my beliefs. :\ I don't know about being reunited though, haha.

  • Wow, i wasnt expecting that at all! Sorry you and James didnt work out....i am a military wife, i didnt want to be one either...good for you standing up for what you believe in. i cant believe you are broke up though, it seems weird lol! but its great you are enjoying your new life and William looks like a fun guy.

Best of lick to you x

  • It is definitely weird! I just couldn't handle the military wife thing. It's for some people, and not for others. It was something I REALLY didn't want, haha.

    Anyway, thank you!

  • Hey, just wanted to send you good wishes for the new life. Sorru it didn't work out with James but glad life is exciting for you. :)

  • Thank you! Very nice of you.

  • I'm from NC and I have never heard anyone pronounce it that way. Just saying, since you said people from NC thought saying uhh, what is it, Or-gun, is wrong. lol Never have heard it the way you're saying, I may just have to start saying that randomly. Sorry to hear about you & James but congrats on the new life. You look happier, good luck to you

  • Well, when I say Or-eh-gen in NC, I get made fun of. ^_^ I nearly got laughed out of a house for it! Thank you!

  • NOOOOOOOOO :(:(:(

  • Yes!!!

  • are you guys dating, or just roomates?

  • Just very very good friends and roommates.

  • Probably only the second or third time that I ever hear someone pronounce it "Ore-gone."

  • ^_^

  • wow im glad ur happy Emf ... too bad ur so far away but because ur happy i guess its ok

  • Welllllllllllll, maybe you should come to Oregon sometime. :P

  • i just may have to take you up on that ... ive never been off the east coast

  • Oh man, it's great out West. It's like the country gets more and more beautiful the more West you go.

  • Aw man that sucks I know ur happy and everything but I thought you and James would be together 4 ever. I really admired ur guy's realationship I know it sounds wierd lol. But yeah I've actually been watching ur videos for years I used to be cherrycandy if you don't remember but yeah...it sucks when you have to grow up

    :(

  • I thought we would be too! Never trust life. It throws curve balls.

Growing up is what you make of it. You can make it fun. :)

  • o ya forgot ... would like all to learn how to whip it .

Learn how to by searching Youtube for ...

"Ever Wondered how to whip it?"

    ;-p

  • *pat pat*

  • you should get some friends together and do a response video around town ;-p ... we're trying to get people to do it but nobody is down to boogie like we do .

  • I only have one friend here, and neither of us is down to boogie. lol.

  • ;-( ... you just lost a fan ...

  • I'm sorry! I'm sorry!

  • it's ok then ... I will forgive ya . :-) . Keep doing what ya do ;-) . Just trying to start a new viral thing , kinda hard although the video has a decent start for views, just not enough . ;-p .

I'm probably going to reshoot one in another town since that's what i'm trying to do, but make it better because I know it wasn't the best, it still is a decent little video.

  • Aww *pet pet*

    Yes, yes it is!

  • Your closer to me now!

I live in Washington state, I used to live in Newport OR

  • O HAI!

  • I saw your pictures on Flickr, I'm from just north of Louisville, and the bridge you went over that you said you loved is amazing. It's kinda scary because it's a double decker, and when you go from Indiana to Kentucky you're underneath the amazing part, which is kinda scary. But yeah, those kinda made me a little homesick since I'm away at college, haha.

  • Aww, that's awesome! Sorry to make you homesick, heheh.

  • Glad people die in the military so that you can prance around...you're off putting....unsubscribed....PEACE

  • I'm very sorry you cannot tolerate people who have different opinions than yourself. I'm not sure how you'll ever make it far in society with that outlook.

  • Monokuro Boo!

Also i'm sad to hear about you and James, but you seem really happy which is obviously a good thing.

  • Thanks for the update!

  • You're welcome. :P

  • ore-gone hahaha :)

  • Yes, I'm aware I pronounce things like a Southerner.

  • I'm sorry to hear about you and James but I'm glad you're happy! Keep you're head up!

  • Thank you!

  • So you broke up with James, but @ 0:54 you say "we're still gonna get married"

    me no understand this

  • okay. so she was engaged but there parents didnt like it and it was stressful. But they're still going so a little later.

  • *facepalm*

  • No, no we're not. We broke up. For good.

  • I said "we WERE still gonna get married" not we ARE.

  • wow, a huge change. i made pretty much the same trip except to seattle from pensacola fl. went to devil's tower, recreated close encounters of the third kind lol. it was a life changing experience for me too. i miss the mountains. you are amazing, please keep making vids, you are the best. peace out girl scout

  • Wow, awesome! I love traveling. :)

    Thank you very much!

  • What a mature and cool young lady. Hope your new life goes swimmingly x

  • Haha, well thank you! I appreciate that.

  • best of luck on your jorney thourgh life mam. weeee go head and do something with your life you deserve it we all do ..
