To BAD its not from the Arcade Version as suggested. I dont recall the Arcade version saying "Press Start" or having a "99" time limit. Arcade was "60" seconds, and "Insert Coin"..

This IS the Arcade version. It says "Push Start" because there are already coins inserted.

As for the time limit, the Arcade was NOT 60. I've just checked with my own copy of MK Arcade (using MAME) and it's 99.

i have mortal kombat 1..i just got it today i got mk deception premium pack! it has mk1 on the bonus disc. great arcade perfect. wow it brings me back to when i was 4 or 5 years old. its just great to play it again nowadays! i will always say, the original mortal kombat was the best mk game ever!!!!!

Congratulations, you are awesome in MK, a true fan and player, my favorite character is sub zero but you do well with liu kang. And i have mk version for arcade, it´s more realistic and the only version have blood naturally (in genesis version you have to do a code)

i really dont like using mame to play mortal kombat 1 or 2 arcade so i just stick with my genesis version and emulator that version is easier to get and takes up less space unlike mame does
