If Jerry Jones had any brains, he'd bring these Royal Blue throwback jerseys into circulation. I prefer these original jerseys over those rag tag DARK blue & silver star on sleeve jerseys anytime. I won't buy any Cowboy mershandise until I see those Blue Jerseys again. I am extremely picky!
No doubt, Hollywood was for first "greatest" outside linebacker. Could hit like a freight train, cover receivers, backs, 9.5 speed in the 100 and was undoubtedly the mold for which LT modeled himself after. Too bad, the media coverage wasn't as big back then as it is now. My favorite HH quote was Terry Bradshaw is so stupid, he couldn't spell cat if you spotted him the c and the t."

@rjst09 Those you named played in the middle. I was a strong side backer at 215lbs. Played over a tight end my whole career. Covered best backs out of the backfield in the nickel package. mostly half backs and receivers. Tom Landry and Jerry Tubbs thought I was the best. What does elite mean. ? Best, Dude.!
@thhenderson ..I guess the length of dominance over a long period career makes elite status. You were definitely a trendsetter for players who came after you, including LT and your speed was/is very rare for the position. I appreciate how you spoke your mind. Too few great players had the courage to say what they really meant.
Like the announcer says, Hollywood was the Muhammed Ali of the NFL. He talked the talk, and he could walk the walk!! One of the fastest LB's ever, and he laid the hardest hit ever on Earl Campbell coming off tackle I ever saw. The only time Earl ever went backwards on a hit. Wish I could find that play somewhere!!

I enjoyed watching him play. I was lucky enough to grow up during the greatest era in football and see outstanding players like this.

I would say TH was great no doubt but not elite in the Singletary, Butkus, Ray Lewis, Nitshke, Lambert, etc. group.
