I'm not hating. but for how Brady started his career, being a hall of famer isn't enough. he was going to be an all time great. no one can be an all time great though when u lost two super bowls to the same team. He is a shoe in for the HOF but will not be remembered with the top tier all time QBs. Sorry Tom, Montana never lost a Super Bowl. You lost TWO
@wiggsdannyboy777....Brady shoudnlt even be mentioned in the same breath as Joe Montana and Johnny Unitas....Brady had his chances to be called the "greatest" and both times he got out played by Eli Manning....that would of been like Montana losing to Boomer Esiason twice when they played the Bengals....Eli is way better then Boomer but you know what I mean...Brady also has very bad losses to the Jets and Ravens at home in the playoffs...he is great but not TOP TIER great
@jaymac508 pretty much what im saying...except that Unitas played against 260 lb defensive tackles who worked at the docks in the off season. he dominated his time at an all time great level....but take the greatest QB from that era and drop him into a game today...and he will try to hide at halftime.
@jaymac508 Brady is easily one of the top 3 greatest of all time. Those two losses to the Giants weren't really his fault, and he put them in position to win the game. He is easily "TOP TIER" great. Joe Montana had three playoff one-and-done from 85-87, in which he threw 0 TDs, and 4 INTs. Do those "bad losses" two of which were at home, take away from his accomplishments? no. Brady can easily be considered the 2nd or 3rd greatest of all time by any educated/logical fan.
@KoaIalify...Montana, Unitas, Otto Graham.....boom NOT Top 3.... and if you took rings/championships out of the convo...which you should because that is a TEAM accomplishment...then I would take P.Manning, Dan Marino, Troy Aikman, Brett Favre, Terry Bradshaw, etc over Tom Brady.....his credibility is zero.....he won tainted titles and up until 2007 which was incredible....wasn't that great, he was just great in playoff games and now he is sucking it up.losing 4 of 6..2 to ELI....BBBAHAHAHAHAHAHA
@jaymac508 Most educated people would say top 3. With what he's been able to accomplish with less talent(the only good receiver he had is Moss). Brady's career QB rating rating and TD-INT RATIO is higher than all of those QBs you named. The titles aren't tainted, every team does what the Pats did with spygate, do your research. Brady's playoff TD ratio is +18 second only to Joe Montana. Brady's 16-6 in the playoffs, tied with Joe Montana. Brady should've beat Eli, but Wes dropped a tough catch.
@KoaIalify lol @ this faggot, "should've beat Eli", more like Eli should've crushed the Pats but the refs had a phantom holding call on boothe in the 2nd quarter
@ChallengeVHS ok, and before Welker critical drop, the refs called a phantom hold on Waters which negated a first down. Put Elisha on Brady's team with the 31st ranked defense and no deep threat, and he wins 6 games at best. nuff said. go cry somewhere else pussyfag.
@KoaIalify what does that have to do with the 2nd quarter hold? full retard status. put Brady on Eli's offensive line and his career is over in two games lol u mad faggot? Yea u mad.
@ChallengeVHS lol no it's not. and please, if you're trying to convince me(or anyone) that Eli is a better QB, then just stop. Brady is one of the top 3 QBs of all time, Eli isn't even close. And what does the second quarter hold have to do with Wes Welker's drop? full retard status.
@KoaIalify no im not, im telling you that brady's the benefit of a great offensive line giving him that pocket protection. if you get to him and hit/sack him he'll get rattled, everyone knows this...and the whole point of that 2nd quarter comment is that the "what if" game is retarded since it can be used by either team, so uh yeah you're still dumb as fuk brah
@ChallengeVHS yep Brady gets rattled. Just like in SB 42, when he had zero time to throw all game, and was getting HAMMERED on EVERY single play, but drove his team down the field for what should have been the game winning TD pass if not for a couple of dropped picks and a miracle play. Brady is good not just because of a "great" oline but because of the best pocket presence in the NFL, everyone knows this.
Anyway, anybody see where that TE came from, opposite side of the field at the 10, hawks the fastest CB in that time. Granted Champ was high stepping to slow down.
i fucking hate brady haters. get over yourselves, he's a hall of fame quarterback that plays with passion for the game like none other, all you haters can go fucking die.
Brady would never last in the 80's with those kinda defence Brady would have never been where he is at right now he may be the best of this generation but Joe holds the best of All time.
@fart2525255 first of all, what the fuck is wrong with your name? fart25252525? hahahaha so gay. second of all, Joe may be the best, but is the best of the 21st century. He has the most super bowls in the 21st century, he has made players great (wes welker, even though he blew the super bowl), and he and belichick are one of the best quarterback-coach tandoms ever. was the point of your comment to try and tell me brady is the second best quarterback ever?

@fart2525255 The Pats OL is one of the best in the league. Brady would've been fine in the 80's. Your username is "fart25255", your opinion means nothing.
That play single handedly won the steelers super bowl XL because there's no way the steelers could've beaten the Pats with all of our signals on film from playing them twice the year before. BUNCHA CHEATERS!!!!!! Funny how no1 ever brings that up anymore. The New England championships under Bellichick should've been vacated.
@HAMMYDIGITS "This is exactly how I was told to do it 18 years ago by a Kansas City Chiefs scout.I tried it, but I didn't think it helped us. But what irritates me is hearing some reactions from players and coaches. These players don't know what their coaches are doing. And some of the coaches have selective amnesia, because I know for a fact there were various teams doing this. The memo was sent to everybody. That doesn't make Belichick right, but a lot of teams are doing this." - Jimmy Johnson
@sweetbilly , lol idk why. im a pats fan and i dont. they just came off a dynasty soo i don't see why they would. and new england wasn't their best that year including the 06 season in which they should have went and won the Superbowl with a weak receiving core.
@Martimat2 shut the fuck up. I was just sayin. And even if you look at different angles it looked like it was. I just thought I would say something interesting. Funny how angry people get and say I'm stupid when I was only posting a comment on how I thought it was cool a physics team did a project on this.
This play is why Tom Brady went 0/1 against champ bailey in the divisional round that the broncos lost in playoffs. This is why champ bailey has broke his own record for most consecutive pro bowls. Coming from a die hard broncos fan, Champ Bailey was the best trade the broncos made in the last decade.
broncos r my fav team an baily is obviously top 5 in the game right now but it would have made it so much better if he picked it off moss lol that would have made it even more epic
was this the year the steelers beat the seahawks in the super bowl? i was studying in germany at the time, and i'll never forget sitting in a packed bar watching the live broadcast until 4 in the morning, haha!
quite happy the pats OBLITERATED them this year in retaliation!!!!!
@Teethgrillin I know, Belichick challenged that the ball did, and he lost the challenge, it was a close call on the replay however, odds were that whatever the initial call was would hold up upon review
I remember watching this and screaming "Watch Out, Watch Out!" When I saw Watson come flying into the picture and Myself and the other 10 people that were watching it all went OOOOOH!!! really loud at the same time when Bailey got smashed....Football is the best sport. Great Times, Great times.
As a Raider fan, its poetic justice if it was a touchback...and I don't mind that it benefited the Broncos, because they got clownstomped the next week anyway.
@g2cracker27 If it was ruled correctly it would have been ruled a forward fumble that went into the endzone and then out of bounds. Since the Broncos had possession last it would be Patriots ball at their own 20 yard line. By rule that is a touchback. If this isnt clear enough, look up the rules of touchbacks.
@meep316 We cheated?! How?! The patriots video taped a team the wrong way. Every team video tapes other teams signals. We did it wrong once and the media took it out of proportion.
@ragingalcie I love when people make complete jackasses out of themselves like you just did. Bailey is an offensive player because he has possession of the ball. Everything big blue said was correct. Take a lap.
If an offensive player (such as bailey was in this play when he had the ball) fumbles the ball into the defensive end zone (NE end zone in this case), it is ruled a turnover for the offense and touchback for the defense. The ball would be placed at the NE 20 & NE ball.
@GoBigBlue1110 Bailey was not an offensive player. He's a DB and was defending. He intercepted the offense's play. You see Tom Brady out there? Pretty sure he plays on the Pats offensive side of the ball. So your theory about it being NE's ball at the 20 yd line just got shot to shit. Big surprise. Another Patriots fan who doesn't know fuck all about football.
@ragingalcie Sigh... oh how the "internet" amazes me once again. First of all, I'm not going to lecture you on the rules of football, you can figure that out on your own. Secondly, I know who Champ is, I know his position. Anyone who knows how to say the word "football" knows who Brady is. Third, I am actually a Broncos fan and do not like the Pats any what so ever. Grow up..
@123michaeljordan23 how is this a touchback? The dumb ass threw the ball to a shutdown corner who caught it and left the endzone and ran the opposite direction to our Endzone. You don't need a Physics team to determine that, dumbass.
This is now my 2nd favorite play of all time after the Tebow-Thomas 80 yard TD last week. C'mon Champ, get back to #1 and do something similar to this against Brady on Saturday night. GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@IronMan50780 it did. I remember this game like it were yesterday. Pretty sure they ruled it down at the 1 yard line, and every sports caster was having a field day because of the mistaken.
@TJPesce420 The funny thing was I remember that week Bill wanted to put cameras on the goalline. But the league denied. That may have changed the entire game.
@acasillas9363 you idiot. You can't let go of the ball before you cross the endzone? If a played lets go of the ball and it crosses the goal line and goes out, they lose the ball and it's called a touchback. You have no idea how football works, oh and he got tackled at the end, and then hit the ground. Lrn2watch.
Denver had the 2nd seed that year, won because of the 5 turnovers by New England, then the very week, Broncos get ROLLED over by the 6th Seeded Steelers! LMBO!!!
Watson's effort is absolutely unbelievable! Still amazing to see him come out of no where to reach Champ before he hits the goal line,- nearly earning a touchback on the fumble.
That's just a dumb throw...and he should know better....throw it away and it's 10-9...off his back foot against a future HOF CB.... wasnt even close to being open...It's amazing how 1 single play can determine a game in sports....and this INT did.....instead of possibly 10-13 with a throw to a different WR or 10-9 with a throw away......the Broncos went up 17-6 ALL momentum on their side and never looked back
Lotsa folks say that Asante Samuel dropping the INT in Super Bowl XLII was a horrid moment in New England Patriots history. This is just as bad. I am still firmly convinced that if Brady completes this pass the Patriots beat the Broncos and win a 3rd straight Super Bowl (home against Steelers and then the Seahawks).
@BUSean.....the Broncos were simply better then the Pats...and then the Steelers smashed this very same team, the next week....and how???? may you ask....attacking champ bailey.....dont give me that bullshit that the Pats WOULD HAVE....COULD HAVE...done anything of the sort.... The Pats werent winning in 2005...that was Pittsburgh year....simple as that...however 2007, was totally NE's and it slipped through #22 hands.....LOL
@jaymac508 your dumb. The pats were on an absolute role that year, and if it wasnt for about 4 absolute bullshit calls (the PI on Samuel, the non call false start on a 50 yard field goal that barley got over) and all around horrible play by the Pats. The pats gave the Broncos that game (so did the refs) but theres little doubt that the Pats were the better team.
@patriotsdynasty12189.....who are you????? anyways.....the Pats were not the better team...clearly denver was.....undefeated at home and they a typical Pats fan to blame the refs......who should be thankful for refs....they gave you super bowl 36 on a silver platter with that GAY ass tuck rule...dont even get me started on Refs when it comes to the Pats...every time brady gets touched their is a penalty flag....The Pats fake ass dynasty is over....DEAL with it..PUSSY
Champ Bailey is among the elite cb's to have ever played the game. I really hope he makes it to the hall of fame, and i'm saying this as a pats fan.

After the 'Tuck Rule' game, Pats fans really shouldn't complain about 'blown calls'.
Tru3Innovator77 1 month ago
@Tru3Innovator77 That wasn't a blown call you moron...
Just a weird obscure rule that when in our favor. They called it right, it's just a shitty rule that probably shouldn't exist.
CrazyDave408 1 month ago
@Tru3Innovator77 How was that a blown call? Is it a freaking weird rule? yes. But the rule still applies for ALL games.

@Tru3Innovator77 it wasnt a blown call... based on the rule, the correct call was made. although its a horrible rule.

@ragingalcie I love when people make complete jackasses out of themselves like you just did. Bailey is an offensive player because he has possession of the ball. Everything big blue said was correct. Take a lap.

jayzz5 1 month ago
If an offensive player (such as bailey was in this play when he had the ball) fumbles the ball into the defensive end zone (NE end zone in this case), it is ruled a turnover for the offense and touchback for the defense. The ball would be placed at the NE 20 & NE ball.
GoBigBlue1110 1 month ago
@GoBigBlue1110 Bailey was not an offensive player. He's a DB and was defending. He intercepted the offense's play. You see Tom Brady out there? Pretty sure he plays on the Pats offensive side of the ball. So your theory about it being NE's ball at the 20 yd line just got shot to shit. Big surprise. Another Patriots fan who doesn't know fuck all about football.
ragingalcie 1 month ago
@ragingalcie Sigh... oh how the "internet" amazes me once again. First of all, I'm not going to lecture you on the rules of football, you can figure that out on your own. Secondly, I know who Champ is, I know his position. Anyone who knows how to say the word "football" knows who Brady is. Third, I am actually a Broncos fan and do not like the Pats any what so ever. Grow up..

@123michaeljordan23 You should petition the NFL to put a physics team in the replay booth. Good luck with that.
bhuisken 1 month ago 27
@bhuisken Even the replay showed it was a touchback. But i have to admit, that was a pretty funny comeback.
123michaeljordan23 1 month ago
@123michaeljordan23 um wait why would that be a touchback?

I'm surprised Belichick's crack team of video experts weren't able to alter the replay the day it happened.

@123michaeljordan23 Considering that the Patriots put the DVD together I'd be extremely skeptical of its accuracy. What did it say about Spygate?
fatmanfiftythousand 1 month ago
@123michaeljordan23 how is this a touchback? The dumb ass threw the ball to a shutdown corner who caught it and left the endzone and ran the opposite direction to our Endzone. You don't need a Physics team to determine that, dumbass.

This is now my 2nd favorite play of all time after the Tebow-Thomas 80 yard TD last week. C'mon Champ, get back to #1 and do something similar to this against Brady on Saturday night. GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@acasillas9363 because the ball appeared to go out of the endzone
IronMan50780 1 month ago
@IronMan50780 it did. I remember this game like it were yesterday. Pretty sure they ruled it down at the 1 yard line, and every sports caster was having a field day because of the mistaken.
TJPesce420 1 month ago
@TJPesce420 The funny thing was I remember that week Bill wanted to put cameras on the goalline. But the league denied. That may have changed the entire game.
IronMan50780 1 month ago
@IronMan50780 well, even being a born and raised pats fan, we all know bill doesn't have the best reputation with cameras :P.

@TJPesce420 Good Point Lol
IronMan50780 1 month ago
@acasillas9363 you idiot. You can't let go of the ball before you cross the endzone? If a played lets go of the ball and it crosses the goal line and goes out, they lose the ball and it's called a touchback. You have no idea how football works, oh and he got tackled at the end, and then hit the ground. Lrn2watch.

That's just a dumb throw...and he should know better....throw it away and it's 10-9...off his back foot against a future HOF CB.... wasnt even close to being open...It's amazing how 1 single play can determine a game in sports....and this INT did.....instead of possibly 10-13 with a throw to a different WR or 10-9 with a throw away......the Broncos went up 17-6 ALL momentum on their side and never looked back
jaymac508 2 months ago
Lotsa folks say that Asante Samuel dropping the INT in Super Bowl XLII was a horrid moment in New England Patriots history. This is just as bad. I am still firmly convinced that if Brady completes this pass the Patriots beat the Broncos and win a 3rd straight Super Bowl (home against Steelers and then the Seahawks).
BUSean 2 months ago
@BUSean.....the Broncos were simply better then the Pats...and then the Steelers smashed this very same team, the next week....and how???? may you ask....attacking champ bailey.....dont give me that bullshit that the Pats WOULD HAVE....COULD HAVE...done anything of the sort.... The Pats werent winning in 2005...that was Pittsburgh year....simple as that...however 2007, was totally NE's and it slipped through #22 hands.....LOL
jaymac508 2 months ago
@jaymac508 your dumb. The pats were on an absolute role that year, and if it wasnt for about 4 absolute bullshit calls (the PI on Samuel, the non call false start on a 50 yard field goal that barley got over) and all around horrible play by the Pats. The pats gave the Broncos that game (so did the refs) but theres little doubt that the Pats were the better team.
patriotsdynasty12189 2 months ago
@patriotsdynasty12189.....who are you????? anyways.....the Pats were not the better team...clearly denver was.....undefeated at home and they a typical Pats fan to blame the refs......who should be thankful for refs....they gave you super bowl 36 on a silver platter with that GAY ass tuck rule...dont even get me started on Refs when it comes to the Pats...every time brady gets touched their is a penalty flag....The Pats fake ass dynasty is over....DEAL with it..PUSSY
