Thats called a capo. It allows you to change the key without changing chords shapes. kinda like a transpose button on a keyboard

in a dream once i was praying to god saying "if we did not pray the rocks would cry out calling your name high above understanding" over and over. Then suddenly an extremly intense white light appeared before me. I fell to the floor like a dead man and i was so scared, most i ever been in my life.
