An old boyfriend heard one of her CDs on someone's web page and he introduced me to her and I've been a fan every since. Thats was about 10 years ago. I've been waiting for her to blow up. I live in the DC area and would love to see her perform at a Blues Alley type of venue. I think she is up there with all of the ones signing today if not better then most. Let's just pray people come to their senses and get tired of listening to noice and pick up her CD. I will share her with my friends.

I fell in love with Adriana Evans in the summer of '97! I was in Japan and went to the store to get a CD. I had the choice between Baduizm and this one. I chose Adriana Evans. I made the right choice. I think that's why she got slept on though because Baduizm took the music world by storm that summer!

I just don't get it. The collective music IQ of this generation is epitomized by the fact that performers such as Adriana Evans, Corinne Bailey Rae and Renee Neuvfell(formerly of Zhane', excuse me if I spelled her name wrong), have to struggle just to get their music heard, while lip sync divas such as Rhianna, Britney Spears and Shakira have worldwide acclaim for nothing but being half naked in their videos. As far as real artist such as Adriana, Corinne and Renee, that's real sex appeal.

The first note of this song takes me back to my first college apartment--feeling independent and in love! Baton Rouge, LA (Southern University) and this CD will always go together. Adriana came out at the same time as Erykah Badu--I think Adriana was the star! Too bad she didn't get the shine she deserved. I still love her!

The description of the album was well put, organic and heartfelt. This album was rediculously underrated. It was one of the best to come out that year, You rarely find an album, that is beginning to end great, this is a great album.
