Well said, deathonthestairs87. But - does it really matter what those here that don't "get it" have to say? You know how "absolutely anyone can play the guitar?" Well, that holds true here as well.
If I may amend that brilliant line - "absolutely anyone can post on the internet". Its doesn't mean its a well thought out expression. Most the time its a knee-jerk reaction.
Of course The Indelicates are great.
I'm sure Pete was amused by the irony of this song as well ;-)

Get Lost! This song isn't even about Pete.
I love the Libertines, their my second favourite band of the 2000s (Indelicates being my favourite), but I can take this song for what it means, not what narrow minded fools make it out to be.
Annoyed this isnt on the album...
