Wow, what a thrill to discover this video which I had no idea existed! I recorded the original version of "Wah Hey" which came out on 45 on my Arf Arf label. Always thought the Turbines and 2x4's were two of the bestest bands from Boss-town (oh yeah, I'm also the sound of the apocalyptical Bridgeport Lathe which came out of my Minimoog back in '79). Keep rockin' maestro Hovorka! Erik PS So John, when ya gonna release those wild 7 unissued 2x4 demos that Rolf produced and I engineered in 78?
I dug this bands album which I believe was released on the BigTime label back in '86, which includes this song. I also really liked the song "Skull & Crossbones." Wish I had seen these guys live back in the day, because that album, which I still have stashed away in storage somewhere, really rocked.
Wow!!!This is a totally awesome video. I used to go see the Turbines and it was always a great time. Miss this time period of Boston rock so much. Looks like the rails that were by the old Boston Garden and Chet's Last Call. I also used to play them on my local show at Emerson College. I Get Excited ;o)
This is so freakin' awesome. I'm in this and I never got to see it. (Plus I learned how to play "Bridgeport Lathe" that afternoon by watching them bust it out on a filming break...)

wow! so many awesome things about this video! footage of Boston, the Rat (?), the fans, the cars, the band, the song. Some of the stuff they did with the cameras was really neat like sending it across the crowd on a zipline or (seemingly) dropping it from a building. TWO THUMBS UP!
Wah hey. Saw these guys many times at Jack's on Mass Ave. With Barrence Whitfield.
