  • As I mentioned it is foolish not to have respect towards quality opposition; but to me, Mercedes Benz is far the best. I took a ride in a 180D MB Taxi in the mid-late 1950s in Dublin. It was very basic compared to modern day Mercedes !!!! I really love the new Mercedes cars.

  • Mercedes... mother of cars,, Germans proud.

  • Best cars on the planet................

  • @UATimka I agree, they are the best cars on the planet. I have loved them since my first ride in a 180D Taxi in Dublin in the mid-late 1950s.

  • Words can´t describe!

  • 1. Mercedes Engine set three world enduring records

2.first car with navigation, safetybelt, brakes on all wheels and many more.

3.things u see on the new mercedes S class will be put on Bimmas and lexus and audi 20 yrs later.

  • Well said. Mercedes is King.

  • @stevomwa you're right mate but do not underestimate BMW

  • man we own a 2005 s500 fully loaded, i hate the attention as a 25yrs old but god this car is heaven on 4 wheels!!

  • Oh Allah would you buy me a a mercedes benz !

  • *laughs*

Anyway, good video nonetheless. Mercedes kicks ass!

  • i love mercedes is the best n the world

  • I rode in a W116 450SEL in Vancouver B.C. and that was the most amazing car I have ever rode. Even if my grand parents didn't care the rusty chassis, that W116 was still running smoothly like nothing else.

  • Chrysler fucked Merecedes Benz up - The W220 S-Class was teh fisrt sign of Merc fighting back

  • Yea im glad that Mercedes got rid of that piece of crap.

  • What the W220 was crap or Chrysler

  • Chrysler! The W220 is cool.

  • Yup... Mercedes is improving. Going back to number 1 soon!

  • I'd like to know what caused the reliability slip. Lexus had it so easy, because Mercedes suddently came from the most reliable to one of the worst.

  • Sorry W126 is the last TRUE merc, they might make better ones again now that chrysler has gone the way of the dodo bird.lol

    Engineered Like No Other Car

  • absolutely right !!!

  • The (W211) E320 CDI which has a (VTG) turbocharged, 3.0L V6 common rail diesel engine, set three world endurance records. It covered 100,000 miles (160,000 km) in a record time with an average speed of 224.823 km/h (140 mph)!

And I can go on and on....like BIG BOY unleaded powered v8's such as the M113, and the v12 M275...Both International Engines of the Year.

Engineered Like No Other Car, nothing beats a Benz!

  • Yes it can do that and MUCH more....lol not too mention the Benz is still running with the Jag is stuck on the side of the road, broken down.

    Mercedes FTW

  • Your Jag can't do 270 km/h without a Mercedes Benz! The inventor of automobile. :p

  • jag driving cock face

  • DRP since your more talking about the S-Class engines, or at least I am assuming, what about the W140's!!

The inline v6 is SEEN THROUGH OUT SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. Every day I manage to notice 1 of them, either driving or parked in front of some valet parking spot.

W140.032 and even W140.043 are AMAZING engines that can TAKE SOME MAJOR ABUSE for A SERIOUSLY LONG TIME W/O ANY MAJOR MAINTENANCE(just keep oil changes up to date).

That is my personal experience owning and playing with these cars

  • w140 is the best they should make it again like americans make such as beetle the new challenger u know i love them w140 for life

  • aye w140 ARE AMAZING...especially the W140.032 that fuck inline 6 can take out many v6's like it, but on much heaver chassis and body frame.

I have no problem taking out a M3 (In the mid to late 90's) on a S-class body with the W140.032...this is w/ very little mods and add ons...that engine for a v6 has a MASSIVE 1st gear(if gear ratio'd properly)

  • Another 12 year old on you tube lol get a life, better yet get an education....Here is an education/research question for you. How fast can an v4(u know 4 cylinders and pistons) go?

  • Sounds like you're not much more intelligent.

V-4? Buahahahahahahahahaha!!! Try I-4 (inline), genius.

  • v4 exists(2 valves each side)...so can you answer the question or did the cool guy look uncool

LMAO...great screen name btw =p lol too funny +1 up for the user name

  • Thanks for the compliment, but two valves per side does not make it a V, I, H, or anything at all other than 2V per bank.

  • we can add up 2v per bank to = 4 v's...hence v4(for the shake of simple description for the young lukexgamer)

  • Ohhh!

Well then you shouldn't say V4 ... but rather 4V. V4 implies you're talking about a V-4, which isn't exactly an engine design out there right now.

  • You'd be surprised on how many are actually out there, even in cars built in the late 90's...lately you will find them in RACING Motorcycles, bigger commercial lawn mowers, heavy machinery motoring any automation's, and so on.

Another use of the V4 engine is in outboard motors. They are two stroke cycle and generally carbonated. Some of the largest manufacturers are Johnson, Evinrude and Yamaha. This type of engine is popular because of its small size, while allowing 140+ horsepower.

  • I thought we were talking about cars ...?

  • no you were talking about inlines and I was talking about V's....that technically would be engines, never cars....for sure can tell you were not the sharpest knife the drawer lol

  • Negative. I was NOT talking about inline engines ... Inline engines don't have multiple cylinder banks ... which should've been your first clue, oh wise one.

  • lol, I think we'll let the public decide that one

  • I really don't care what you think, I think it's fairly clear.

However, don't forget the reason I commented here was because of a moron, sooo ... the public has some idiots. LOL.

  • Apparently, you do, whats the point of you carrying on if you didn't care...a little obvious isn't it. Sad is I was talking about cars(v4's are engines in automobiles Ford, Nissan's, Saab, VW, etc), yet you think I wasn't...kinda proves you've lost your way on this one

  • Okay, NOW I know you're just throwing shit. Figures because nothing I said was wrong.

    We just midunderstood eachother.

  • ya the 1st 3 comment you made were wrong....so much for "you're not much more intelligent."

Kinda shot yourself in the foot...ya I know it's okay we live and we learn.

  • lmao! Nice try. Really.

  • wasn't even a try...more like a fact, really LOL

  • Either your confused/misunderstood or quite the bitter loser...really lol "nice try" lmao

  • lol it makes it a v4, Karl Benz in 1896 made PATENTED the 1st ever V4 engine....V4, not 4v ir i4 or 4i or however the fuck you twist....lol the ignorance on you tube continues.

  • You mean your ignorance? Never did I deny the V-4 ... I said it's not really out there much right now ... as in most companies have moved to I-4s.

That's a true statement, sorry to burst your bubble.

  • Did someone piss in your Cerrios mate? He was talking about v4's...sounds like you've never heard of a v4, they still make them in cars today in the year 2009, German, Japs, Americans, etc...

  • Which car makers in German make 2009 v4 style engine?? None I know of and I live in Germany. Maybe you see description of cars called v4 on websites, but they are Inline 4 cylinder engines.

  • Finally a man that understands. The other two clearly read too fast and don't actually understand what they're reading. I never denied the V-4's production.

  • Yes, but nor did you acknowledge it, which also comes across as if you didn't know(as it looks with your 1st post, which displays childish & ignorant behavior, as explain above). Either way, doesn't matter, hope you both learn something from it. if not, I hope it was worth the time and effort.

  • Reading and comprehension rapes you doesn't it?

    Did I say V-4s weren't around? Hmm ... you know ... I didn't!!! I implied they weren't popular.

  • s class> all other sedans that aren't 150,000 +

  • Nice vid, but need MORE W140!!!

  • Bonito reportaje, compañero.Un gran Mercedes.Mi padre tiene uno del año 1978 y es flipante :)

  • Nice vid. first comment 5 stars Mercedes benz for ever
