IMO, the "Phantom Punch" definatley connected with Liston's skull - Ali goes in with a right to the temple like Angelo said and you see Liston's head being literally rocked before he went down. Now, do I think Liston should have been counted out in the first round like that - no, Ali was clowning around and the ref couldn't get him to a netural corner to start the 10 count on Liston, the problem wasn't if the fight was fixed or not - the problem was the ref - he just made a really bad decision
