Dharmendra's character inspired by Rifleman Jaswant Singh( Mahavir Chakra) who in 1962 NEFA front did not fall back from his post because he was in love with a local girl in the village and all alone he trained the girl and his brother to load LMG magazines and was martyred in the defence of the post.
