one of the things ive ever loved of fire emblem games was its graphics (on GBA). Were simples,but amazing and cool at the same time.

On my first playthrough, I was so reckless and wound up killing Tiki and losing the Starsphere. I didn't even get Nagi. I had to kill Gharnef with brute force and not Starlight. I also never got the Aum staff. By my secound playthrough, I got the Starlight and found out a way to get both Tiki and Nagi.

Forgot to mention if you aren't familiar with fire emblem.

You can see the critical change in the down right corner of the character (Left next to it is hit change and damange)

Thanks, :D And a critical isn't that rare totaly depends on character and weapon (there is even a class that gives 10 + critical) but the critical you saw here had 3% change so thats pretty lucky.

Actually its 24 damange a critical 3x the normal damange not double.

Oh no. The storyline is so detached it's pathetic, and the graphics are just awkward to look at. That, and the concept art and sprites are so far below the others that it's not even funny.

The third move (with the horse and rider) was really, REALLY bad strategic judgement. Now all the enemy has to do is fall back a bit and triple-team the straggler.

Well, fire emblem is something like that. It takes place on a flat grid and you take turns moving units. If you REALLY wanted to, you could even make a fire emblem board game. :D

i already have the game, and i think the portraits are done much better in this one, but when the characters get into the battles on the grid it just doesn't seem as appealing as it was on the gba.

i guess its an acquired taste.
