So far I only rode the Acela once and that was from Washington DC to Baltimore and it was a good ride. The cars were much nicer then the Amfleet Is which operate the NE Regional. That was almost 2 years ago.

acela rocks! hop on and it gets you there in no time. I have to take it from baltimore- boston and\vise versa. good quality service,fast train, why fly?

Another cool thing about trains is that you can see stuff out the windows as you go by as opposed to only seeing clouds. That and you don't have to wade through airport security. I haven't been on a train yet but I'd like to sometime within the next couple years. I don't have anywhere to go that requires a trainride but I'd be willing to go somewhere far away just to ride the train sometime. =P

the car doors are motion sensor??? when i rode this train 5 years ago, they didnt even have doors at the end of the cars(The 1's inside the train)
