I don't think so, this is what happens in world cup campaign when you do not invest allot of time preparing, Iran had one good year to prepare for the world cup, but becuase they choose not to make the necesarry investments to prepare themsleves this is the results they got. They still haven't even managed to develope the goal keeper position.
