  • id just by a Champion from tractor supply they run 63-64 DB, add another muffler an your set

  • damn that's pretty quiet. what's the price on one of those? cheaper than a honda perhaps?

  • so quiet wow

  • Wow...easy starter AND easy on the ears! Where are they on sale?

  • Have had Honda, Yamaha and Kipor. They are all good. Go for the cheapest price on any of these.

  • @taineasy I've been reading reviews about the Boliy Generator and yes, I would love to own a Honda or Yamaha (2000 or above) but those prices are steep! Seems like that Boliy is capable of competing with them boys. What's your thought "taineasy"?

  • Has anybody check to see how the Boliy Generator (3600 Watt) at a little over $1,000 compares with this Yamaha?

  • load'er up for a test

  • Super quiet! Look out Honda!

  • can this power 4000watts of lights??

Can this be running everyday throughout the year???

  • How does it compare to the Honda 3000?

  • @itsmonti1

Ultimately I would of loved the Honda 3000, I would of set it up for the tri fuel and would be set for life.....camping, events,house-outage....but the price tag is steep..

  • @Schleggo Thanks for the comment. It would be nice if the dealerships have different brands of comparable models side by side so the customers can make a better decision of which to buy. We have an ATV side by side dealer here that have models of its competitors on the same lot so the customer can test drive them all. It is pretty nice. Thanks again for your comment.

  • @Schleggo Agreed! Also check the YG2800i. Very happy with mine. It's too bad Yamaha made them look cheapy because they are well made units.

  • just sold mine ....great geni and easy to start and it ran my rooftop rv aircon unit .... should have demo'd it under load ... db volume jumps for sure but they all are loud under load... I replaced it with a 2Ki yamaha .... I did not dig the weight and bulkiness of the 2400 but was not willing to go to a 1000 .... if you dont mind 75 to 80 lbs and its size .... get the 2400 as it will cycle up to kick in an ac unit ... if ac is not your thing then the 2k series is the model ...

  • @pasturebedtime

Yup...thats why I bought this one...RV ac...13,500btu...lets it run perfectly!

Yes, under load she does rev up and yes a bit louder....but not even close to a contractor style at idle....still very quiet.

  • thats really quiet! what great engineering.

  • This is so quiet, I had running all night outside my trailer and had the muffler pointing into the woods, not even my camping neighbours heard it! Evevn under load its quiet.....best buy yet!

  • starts real easy ey?

  • very easy!

  • lol my briggs 3500W (4800 Staring Watt) might be able to power more, but to be honest i would much rather have yours because the briggs is SOOOO f-n noisy at a ear bleeding 50-62DB! if not more!

  • W00000000000T u can get 1 of those at about 3000W and also honda generators are about that loud (not 50DB!!) and are really quiet, I was about 1 metre away from 1 at the beach and I didnt hear a thing! so get a yam or a honda I think they r both good.

  • actually to be honest, briggs says that there 60Db but i think its more like 80+Db.

The Honda's are about 40Db depending on the load

  • If you saw my other upload of the coleman briggs and strat....I bought it and sold it the same day.....
