Home protection....I've always found it weird how the US can't seem to survive without having a shotgun in their home, when the rest of the world seems to be fine without one...
@Lasergurka You said it's weird how we can't survive without a shotgun. So, when someone walks into your house late at night, and they want to hurt you, shotgun or something else?
@Alome9 When someone comes to my house at night and wants to hurt me, which noone ever does, I keep my front door locked as I always do. Problem solved.
@Lasergurka As far as I know, we are the only country that can have a home defense gun. The only other country I know of that is gun friendly is Switzerland.

@Lasergurka I don't see how that would exclude the police. Most police officers in America buy guns because their job. Most guys like an ar 15 over a standard issue pistol. I have a question for you, why do you think guns are bad? There are a lot of good uses for them like hunting, competition, and personal defense. The only reason people think they are bad is because criminals use them.
@Alome9 Well our police obviously have guys aswell...and I don't think guns are bad, but it's easy to do bad things with guns, and therefore I find it pretty stupid to let anyone have them, if someone decide that they want to kill a lot of people the could just go to a shop and get the equipment :) and we allow weapons for hunting and competition :)
@Alome9 But what if someone broke into your home, and you want to protect yourself with a shotgun. But if YOU can get a shotgun then the CRIMINAL can get one to, and then a firefight will start and people will end up dead instead of having a bruse? I know that it's hard to think in other lines of though when you're not used to it, but try to think though this...I mean the whole world except you agree on this matter...maybe you guys are wrong? :)
@Lasergurka This isnt hollywood. Most gunfights end within 2 shots, the things you see in movies happen once police get involved, since they are not allowed to shoot until the suspect is shooting back, they keep trading rounds until one is dead or surrenders. Plus, while it does make sense to get rid of guns, if you have seen enough of the darker side of the world EVERYONE can get a gun, ANYWHERE.
@ELITEHAMSTER123 Who said anythink about hollywood? It doesn't matter if it end within 2 shots or not, someone will end up badly hurt or even dead. If the criminal is trying to break in here, and realizes that someone is home he or she gets the fuck out, and probably because he or she knows that he can't fend for himself :)
while you probably have heard this before, I will not prove it to you because you probably already know by now if you had experience dealing with criminals. It can be made really easily (search up PA Luty) or stolen EASILY by LE. I really dont care if the government outlaws firearms, because Americans will always be armed. However, I think its unfair to let some law abiding citizens helpless because of a piece of paper. When seconds count, police are minuites away
