hey I got the same vehicle in my garage and I removed and installed a new timing belt my headache is the tensioner I also replaced it with the spring. So according to instructions it says to turn the tensioner while it is loose a 10th of a degree and then tighten the nut for the tensioner after that it tells you to turn the crank twice and recheck timing marks for some odd reason on the left bank its always a halft a tooth even prior to removing the prev timing belt.Whats the best way to do this
I been working on my timeing belt for 2 day's now about 16 hours worth and I cant get the bunch marks to line up once I tighten the tensioner ...3 times i slap evrything back together and it misfires its out of line by one tooth do you have any advise this is about the best help I come across thank's mate ....
I have a question for somebody who can answer this i am working on a 84 300 non turbo. i dont know either to get dealer parts or parts from the auto parts place? your answer would be apreciated.

If you have a manual transmission, put the car in 5th gear to loosen/torque the sprockets.

That looks like a turbo Z unless the alternator is re-located to the passenger side.

I dont think you can find the CHTS sensor anywhere anymore. Check ebay for used ones.

ran perfect until I sold it. I shouldnt have sold it actually, it was too good, and I spent too much money on it.
