UGA once had a 7 game win streak over GT. That's all relative though. UGA football players have a long tradition of not being able to read and/or not making the grade in High School. This is true. This was a "scandal that rocked the school" in the late '80's when an English professor called out the UGA AD. It was inevitably swept under the rug because UGA knows their football and merchandise pumps in too much revenue. btw, GT had a 9 game win streak when in the late 40's-mid 50's.

So yeah, UGA followers are delusional. BTW, I love it when I hear "SEC teams have won the last 5 national titles". very true. None of those teams had the name "Georgia" or "Bulldogs" either.

I was alive, and 11 years older when GT won a quasi NC in 1991 (Issues w/ Colorado coach split vote for coaches/voters. Research that and get back to me)

Since 1964, GT has managed just 12 wins vs UGA. Let me say that again for all of you GT fans out there...12 wins in 45 games.

To say that UGA has dominated this series in the past 45 seasons would be a slight understatement. During that stretch of dominance, UGA has posted win streaks of 5, 6 and 7 (2x). Tech has won 3 straight once (98-00).
