Yes, this is underrated. Even here in the Philippines, some metal/prog bands here do not know this band. A pity. I love this band since the first time I heard this song. It was on cassete tape then. When I and my friend heard the intro, i was washing dishes that time, and my friend played this one, it just blew our minds. I stopped what i was doing. (i didn't know dream theater at that time). I said, "this band is fucking excellent! We just listened till the album finished.

No man, its not about errors at all. Your playing is fantastic. Plus since you did this by ear thats even more amazing. I was tryin to play it strict alternate but I was getting a bit hung up on the inside and outside picking while string skipping. I will give your style a shot. Ya dont worry about your playing, no errors man. I just had to watch close to see how you might be playing it and thought I noticed 2 downs. Thanks for the advice.

After watching you play this I had to give it a shot, but my question is do you alternate the whole thing or are you throwing 2 downstrokes at the beginning so that way the alternate string skipping is falling same way. If you know what I mean? because its pretty crazy if trying to alternate everything in the main lick due to how the string skipping falls on both up and down strokes, again unless you do two quick downs on the first 2 notes? Thanks man. You play this effortlessly.

@SaintsCheat That´s right man! You are very smart!!! I´m playing the intro riff throwing two downstrokes in some parts. Honestly, at the time of record this, there were no tabs, so I learned it by ear and watching some videos of Andromeda playing it, so, as you can see, there are many errors.

However, in that section, I think it should be playing like that, because its very hard trying alternate all the riff.
