@dlaetre i have that same capture card. what is ur internet upload speed, also make ur output source is 400x240 wit a min of 500bit rate thats if your internet upload speed is more than that if less then ur gonna be lagging and quality will be crap

@artimahalla Disable mic and enable stereo mix for xp or vista, check google of how to do that if you don't know.

@artimahalla if u are having problems with audio try using VAC (virtual audio cable) that helped me out alot with audio problems

@artimahalla you can get around this. i did it myself. i promise. go to your computers website. (ie. dell.com) go to their drivers page..look for ur pcs drivers.. however instead of looking for windows 7drivers.. look for XP. download the audio driver for ur computer.. but make sure it is XP version. once finished.. Right Click on it and go to properties. look for compatibility tab.. then check the "run this program in compatibility for XP" now run as admin and install.

@nolabush25 once installed.. u may need to restart computer.. now look at your audio bar on the bottom left of your desktop.. right click on it and select playback devices. you will now see stereo mixer. if not then right click inside it and hit show all devices/hidden devices (whatever it says).. one you stereo mixer.. simply enable it... and VOILA!! hope this helps others.. it took me days or trial and error to get stereo mixer on my windows 7 xp. :)

Ok first off i started with ManyCam, that worked but bad quality, then i tryed WebcamMax which is great quality, but i do everything in the video and it doesnt work, no errors or anything. I know i havent gave you much information. But i dont know what to do.. It's really annoying. I want to broadcast my desktop by the way, i see the preview screens in Encoder and everything, i click start and nothing..

Was easy to do everything, just having trouble with the sound. I disabled my mic from the control panel on my comp. But you said to enable stereo mix on the sound options. How do i do that?

For you guys with Audio problems .. google for a software called Virtual Audio Cable... ( VAC does not have a signed driver or in other words it is not verified by your operating system as a compatible software so you need to disable driver signature verification in your Windows OS) you can do that by pressing F8 before the boot up screen and choose the option list or....

use another software that puts your windows Vista/Win7 in test mode called "Driver Signature Enforcement overrider" Its on your own risk i'm not responsible for any damage on your PC or OS, but i have used it a lot with no problems what so ever.. Anyway after you download Virtual Audio Cable and DriverSignature Enforcement overrider, you have to setup

the VAC, all this might sound kinda complicated but its really easy when you get the hang of it ;) :))

hey Mike, thanks for the vid, I have ManyCam and the Encoder, and I have it all set up, but my stream is very choppy, eventhough Im at 1600 kbs... I have no idea why this could be happening. I do have an out dated video card (Radeon 9550) if that would be the issue, but other than that, I don't see what the issue could be. I have the best internet available in my area.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance.

Hey Mike, i just wanna thank you, it took me about 1 hour to setup the whole thing, actually it wasn't the video broadcasting that took time it was more the Audio Issue, but i figured it out , i have Windows Vista 64 bit and i used Manycam , anyway i'm up and running live on JustinTv, Thanks to you ;)

P.S: For you Guys complaining about every damn thing, just go and eductae yourselvs in computers befor using one, and stop acting like idiots, Show Gratitude for the people who try to help others

Sorry for the late Reply ... No unfortunately thats the only down side about ManyCam .. no playlist... i know it sucks.. but for now thats the only Free software that i have found that has most of the options you need to play movies and stream them through FME... you can also buy a software called "MaxWebcam" it includes a playlist option... and if i find anything else For FREE i'll let you know ;)

Yeah Manycam still hasn't added a playlist as a feature despite repeated requests from people on their website forums.

I have WebcamMax and it works fine it just seems to use a lot of resources for some reason when working with the FME. thx for the reply

@tylesftw you need a capture card. For beginners a dazzle DVC100 for SD, and for moderate/expert a Hauppauge HD PVR or Black Magic Intensity Pro for HD

well if you have vista or 7 then I think you right clickthe volume thing n the bottom right and you get options and you will see mic enableand stereo mix, Try to disable mic and then enable Stereo mix.
