You know what really ticks me off? People trying to say that all of this is unnecessary to worship God. Sure, he does get kinda showy and it's probably not what most of us would do, but God said let His people worship Him with a joyful noise. The same thing happened on the day of Pentecost when people did not understand what was going on when it was in fact, the Spirit of God moving upon his people. There is no one cookie-cut way to worship God. If he wanted to do so in that way, then let him.

Entertaining is correct. I don't go to church to be entertained, that's what I have Direct TV for. I wish the singers, choirs, and yes, some preachers would stop the show and just let God work through them. We don't need a new twist on classic hymns. And for the cleaver preachers, stop the sermons that are "so deep" that every two minutes you have to tell the congregation that they just missed it. he's not the only one with 2many riffs, runs and acrobatics-that's pretty much the way it's done these days. Improvising can enhance a song, but it can also destroy a song. I am sure it is easy to feel pressured to "move" a crowd, but that is the work of the Spirit of God. And riffs, runs and acrobatics, in and of themselves cannot accomplish that. If we would just be ourselves and not follow the masses we can be more effective in whatever we are called to do.

I do see the conern for people saying that he may have added too much to the song. But I also think that if God gave him a gift he should use it to the fullest. And I believe that because he is older he gets ridiculed about it more. However if you listen to the songs in his younger days he put just as much in those songs too but becuase he's older now he is judged for it. So to Bryan Wilson I say sing to the glory of God. Use what the Lord gave you.

he's not the only one with 2many riffs, runs and acrobatics-that's pretty much the way it's done these days. Improvising can enhance a song, but it can also destroy a song. I am sure it is easy to feel pressured to "move" a crowd, but that is the work of the Spirit of God. And riffs, runs and acrobatics, in and of themselves cannot accomplish that. If we would just be ourselves and not follow the masses we can be more effective in whatever we are called to do.

I just hope that everyone discussing this has the gifted spirit of discernment to understand that sometimes one misses the anointing because that individual is too busy focused on personal taste; likes and dislikes. Even anointed folk are not always going to us, because maybe we just weren't ready for it in that moment. Let Nothing get in the way of your praise.

WHAT! LOL! So before this video I just watched him and james moore sing yahweh. First, and foremost, he HAS changed, vocal ability and all! With that being said, I never thought I would laugh so hard with somebody singing about the blood of jesus! The blood of jesus will NEVER lose its power, but this is hilarious. He is doin TOO much! You are are correct in what you said about god, "he has no morals". I would better say that I have a greater sense of morality than he does. I do not condone slavery, the stoning to death an unruly child, nor the slaughter of babies by cutting them out of the womb of their mother....as your god did. For those that question another persons faith and annointing, you are not filled with the spirit of God. I think that he ministered this song well. He did it in the way that he was lead. Dont judge his praise. He could have been out there singing about sex and everything else but he isnt. Churchfolks you need to stop judging people. He's hitting the notes, but I have to admit there are too many vocal acrobatics going on. I believe he really feels this song, but I have learned over the years how to restrain my range. Sometimes people want a performance no matter how much you try to minister. God bless him for hanging in there.

I sense that this Congregation was in need of prayer, and healing. I could sense some hurt. The slowness of the song and Bryan's voice was sweet like a lullaby; therefore, the sudden hypeness wasn't touching their soul...and the hidden pain.

Choir members seem to be laughing at Bryan as he is up there playing with the notes... I am not one to say who is and who is not annointed but the Pastor looks like he is ready to pull his coat tail and sit Bryan down. There are straight faces all in the church where is the love at and how come 2 people clapped for his performance when the pastor said thank God for him... just a thought..
