  • No one out there can perfect that "You can't hold the torch" beat by Dilla...

  • good stuff man

  • Dilla is the best there ever did it...........

  • i love that falling in love beat. flying lotus' version is tight too

  • yall stupid his shit sounded aight, he never tryed to claim credit it clearly says remakes so learn how to read and you can easily avoid being a hater, nice shit!!!

  • Ok,do you know where the drum loops at 1.35 is from?

  • @HarpoonSlazenger IRON BUTTERFLY!!!

  • @DZA9mm

    Thankyou!

  • Reazi, it was alright. It was good. the last one could have been better compared to the others

  • @ Reazi, look man I don't have a problem with doing remakes. When I first came across your page, I thought you were exploiting his work by finding the originals & remaking them to self promote. But if your truly genuine, & you are informing ppl of his brilliance than kudos to U. I had the pleasure of being in his presence around 01'- 04' (We recorded @ STUDIO A together) . @ Taijonlamar, I'm not hatin bruh, people should be prepared to get a little backlash when you fuck w/ Classics, Dat all.

  • FUK EVERYONES COMMENTS! YO REAZIMUSIC,, KEEP DOIN UR THANG MAN,, FUK THE HATERS,, THEY DONT KNOW SHIT keep up the good workk!

  • @taijonlamar thanks alot man

  • nothing wrong with paying homage. it's not like you're claiming these beats are originals

  • He sighs but instead of putting you energies into remaking Dilla's records you should do your own. I would be interested an hearing some of your original work. I just think your exposing my mans work. I'll do you one better, why don't you remix his work and put your own spin to it. Did you know him?, Were you ever in his presence? Are you House Shoes, Madlib, Karriem Riggins, James Poyser, Pete Rock, Waajeed to name a few. Because those dudes deserve the right to Remix his joints....

  • @eddyjamez20 You can learn with remaking beats, the remakes have more of an educational purpose if you know what I mean. I discovered that Dilla used the same chopping pattern in all Donuts' songs except Welcome to the show. I don't see the problem man..

  • WHAT A FUCKIN COOKIE BRUH!!! & NO I DIDN'T ENJOY!!! MAKE YOUR OWN SHIT!!

  • @eddyjamez20 sigh..

  • @ReaziMusic man! you talented if you put this together! don't listen to the haters 'cause they mad that they can't do this shit! you don't have to know the cat to rep him and remake his beats. if your a fan of his music then that should be enough. let's put it this way. when someone whips out a guitar on piano and play mozart or beatles or whatever. people don't judge them for playing their music. that's just ignorant. fuck that. EDDYJAMEZ20 CAN GO EAT A DICK! GO HANG WITH BILL O'REILLY! BITCH!

  • @monsen86 thanks man, fuck that hater.

  • @eddyjamez20

If you go and remake beats by this man, youll learn a tonne of shit.

  • hey bro i heard one of these tracks on people under the stairs hidden track. anybody let me know

  • yo...so you made these beats? those are the samples, but that sounds like Dilla shit to me.

  • @verbaltension33 They're remakes.

  • What song are the Fall in Love drums sampled from?

  • @MyNameIsNeutron I just sampled them from Fall in love

  • Hey whats that song at the start of the video?

  • you could have sampled the drums for fall in love!

  • I did.

  • ....................?

  • @drewlips20 .....?

  • what tune is that from 3:05 to the end? I wanna look that up its so dope

  • Inside My Love

  • I Like that..Nice!!

  • i luv those minnie ripperton rhodes at 03:04

  • he only made the first one...which is pretty good and reminds me of some YNQ stuff

  • U got some dope beats homie

  • what's the beat at the beginning of the video?

  • it's a jazz beat I made myself.

  • i'm a producer, too! i'm thinking about youtubing some of my tracks...but yo, that jazz beat is sick! u sampled it and drummed it out?

  • thanx man. much appreciated :)

BTW:It's sampled. the drums are from Dave Rubeck's Take Five.

    one

  • i like how he did the slum village beat thats some crazy shit

  • please tell me what is the name of the song of that minnie riperton sample I like that song

  • It's 'Inside My Love', and the original is shit hot too.

  • yeah woops inside my love

  • "inside me" i think?

kenny dopes/nightmares on wax mix called: get on down i think uses the chord sequence better. personal belief but not as heavy as slums use of it.

  • @lionheartodd the song is Minnie Riperton - Inside My Love. Dilla sampled the part after 3:16

  • on the last beats sample, I Thing Dilla made 2 beats with that

  • Busta Rhymes & Q Tip- Hold the Torch

I think he also did "A tribe called Quest- Lyrics to Go" with this sample.

  • i thought he did "Look Of Love" with tht minnie ripton joint...

  • lyrics to go was the first one..then came the rest...lyrics to go hits harder than the other ones

  • i think that's the Trina Broussard version of "Inside My Love"...

  • yea it his huh.. both sound almost the same..

  • you took the fall in love drums from dilla... what are the original ones??

  • don't know man, I took the drums from the intro of "fall in love".

  • fool yourself - little feat .. i think those are it

  • yo nice work man they pretty accurate except the last one lol. nice chek out my channel i remade some dilla joints my self on fl studio

  • yo fam i dig this.

  • REAL; REAL; REAL;

  • Holy shit, nice job on Gobstopper :)

  • thanks man!

  • Does anyone know what the very first song at the video's intro is?

  • that's one of my jazzbeats. I call it chillin' :D

  • seriouly dude, you gotta stop droppin dime on the joints that producers use. That's not cool. Keep that info between you and your crew. Straight Up!!!

  • why?...no one ownes any samples and every song can be sampled by anybody. and all this vid is showing is what J Dilla did with these samples, and hopefully beginning producers can learn from it and better their musical skills. and you're saying I'm doing a bad thing? c'mon man....

  • I'm with you on that one homey. it's hardly a secret of what songs are being sampled. My advice to aspiring producers: be original and creative. Don't just loop a track and think you have created a masterpiece. Also, collect as much wax as you can you hands on. no matter what it is. you'll be surprised with what you can do with B-side joints!

  • if it wasn't for the internet 99.9% of y'all people wouldn't know about most of the samples and if you wanted to know you had to go out and search for them which is something you won't do if you're not truly dedicated to this shit. now every 15 year old can google shit up and front like they be digging in the crates..

  • not like true heads can't use the internet but there's much more posers and wanna be's now because it's so much easier to make other people think you know what's up when you really don't!

  • buggin' son.

  • where you get those drums from infectious i wish dilla was here hip-hop died with him
