Konami really needs to remake Dracula's Curse. Hopefully they just go ahead and remake the whole NES trilogy. Simon's Quest could really benefit from an overhaul as well.

I respectfully disagree my friend. Dracula's Curse was a very good game for being 3D and a good effort by Konami. No need to touch it.

Nevertheless, nothing beats the classic 2D game play. It is a lot more fun and it has a better feel in my opinion. Some things are better left unchanged :).

p.s. The "Rebirth" collection has been created to pay tribute to the classic Konami games. An amazing approach by the geniuses at Konami!..

Agree, floresed. Konami big ones have made an excellent job on forking Castlevania. They will probably never leave to make those 2D masterpieces, but for those who really like 3D, they will not disappoint them too. I deeply prefer 2D, of course. :)

Maybe they should have a castlevania legends rebirth also. But i dunno how that would work. The game had awesome music and great controls but it didn't get much attention because it came out towards the end of the gameboy era.

the stage 3 on hard difficulty is crazy, i couldn't even get past the second screen. The level design is different in hard .

thats because people don't know how or when to use them... srly i've seen this guy miss alot of chances where it could have been better to use the sub weapon but no he looks like he likes to suffer and go all out with the whip

Very possible, but as I say, I can complete CV IV without losing a life and hardly ever use sub items. I am sure on my first play thru of Castlevania Rebirth I wont be using sub items in an efficent way straight away. Half the fun is learning.

Well in my defense, it was my first play on the stage. In my live-stream later on, I did use more Sub Weapons and had more confidence in what I was doing. Thank god I manage to beat Hard too. ^.^

I just beat it on Hard a few minutes ago on my live-streaming channel. I should warn you that you will see way too many enemies on-screen, levels will have platforms and layouts re-arranged and you will take more damage. o.o
