I don't really care how people think that the songs in this movie don't relate with the overall story and context. Afterall, Dante Alighieri was inspired by a young girl beatrice to write the epic 'inferno'. Same goes for John Milton and other great artists. Waris Shah was inspired by his own unrequited love that made him write spiritual poetry that emphasizes the connection with god... life is absurd and ridden with angst, rock is merely a reflection of that.

I can say that because I have friends in UK and as well as in Canada. The only reason they say that "Pakistanis and Indians are the same" is because they think it pisses Indians and Pakistanis of, which is true also. But they can differentiate between Pakistanis and Indians now.

We do look alike a little. I wont disagree on that because we were once the same people. Just like the Americans and the Canadians were once. The arabs were once and the Europeans were once.
