Thanks for your comments. "Taylor" is an actor and did not work at the coffee shop, he is a drummer in a band. The people who owned the shop probably do think we are crazy, but they are friends of mine and let us use the shop, so it worked well for us.

Don't get me wrong, I loved this video and really enjoyed Kandices performance. In fact I was sure it was her singing to begin with. But if in fact she was lip-synching, she was much better in the "concert" section than in the "field" section. Was there a technical reason for that or did you film that first so she was just getting used to it?

I agree, the concert part of the video was much more polished. We actually shot the entire thing in one day and were running all over the place. The concert part was the last part we shot and Kandice, after lip-syching the song all day, knew it much better. Plus, she was psyched for the concert thing, we had discussed how this would be the cool part, not to mention the piano player's part in it, with his comic relief.
