@lass8477 BS that´s what it is. They use factory cars nowadays so please get past the 70´ties... Most Mondeos are the 2 Liter version 4 cyl. The car can´t do shit if it comes to a horsepower contest. You´re right that the trafic police have 6 cyl Skoda (very few) able to do 250 but with frontwheel drive and standard skoda performance that means expect less rather than the best. At the danish police academy you learn to drive with RPM due to the fast speed/brake factor. Get your facts straight.

Standard marked cars are *usually* never modified, but that doesn't necessarily go for the traffic/HSP, special and video units. They do with their cars what the job requires.

Danish police cars are, btw, never straight-out-of-the-factory.

Guys really if you think that something is unacceptable in this video you are crazy. Oh squeaking tires... Come on, If it was real understeer/oversteer that could be considered unsafe. Everything was under control. Generally Danes are generally slow and careful while driving (often too much from my point of view). Go to East Europe to see some more crazy driving, which I can tolerate as this is the question of being used to it.

Then you do not know anything. In denmark, it takes 3 years just to get thru training/education. Then you have to undergo 6 to 18 months of "riot" and "swat" training. After that they are fully trained.

So as i said, you do not know anything it seems.

To be fully trained in Danish police, you need to undergo 3½ years of mixed school (theory) and practical learning. It's divided by about fifty-fifty. Then you have a period of 12 to 24 months of specialization.

Oh, and Danish police officers are required to improve their skills, not just by taking an exam, but by actual course attendance.

Danish uniformed police is educated BETTER than the FBI, basically.
